C・ロナウドのドルトムント行きもなし、ヴァツケCEO「その話はやめるべき」

マンチェスター・ユナイテッドからの移籍を模索し続けているといわれるポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドだが、新たに噂のドルトムント行きもあり得なさそうだ。

今夏の去就が残留か、移籍かで揺れ続けるC・ロナウド。代理人のジョルジュ・メンデス氏が必死に移籍先を探し回り、これまでチェルシー、バイエルン、パリ・サンジェルマン、そしてアトレティコ・マドリーに売り込みをかけたといわれるが、どれも形にならずに終息している。

そうしたなか、つい先日に新たな売り込み先としてドルトムントの名が浮上して注目を集めたが、ドイツ『ビルト』によると、CEO(最高経営責任者)を務めるハンス=ヨアヒム・ヴァツケ氏が収支報告会見で獲得の可能性を否定したという。

「私はあの選手のことが大好きだし、C・ロナウドがシグナル・イドゥナ・パルクでプレーするのをお目にかかれるのは確かに魅力的なアイデア。世界が生んだ偉大な選手の1人でもあるが、当事者間の接触は一切ない。したがって、この話をやめるべきだ」

これまでの実績こそ申し分ないものの、年俸面が大きな足かせとなり、獲得に名乗りを上げるクラブを見つけづらい様相を呈しているC・ロナウドだが、去就やいかに。
