アーセナルがU-21ポルトガル代表主将MFファビオ・ヴィエイラ獲得を発表、移籍金は約56億円

アーセナルは21日、ポルトのU-21ポルトガル代表でキャプテンを務めたMFファビオ・ヴィエイラ(22)の獲得を発表した。契約期間は未公表で長期とだけ明かされている。

移籍金は4000万ユーロ(約56億7300万円)で、そのうちの500万ユーロ(約7億1000万円)は成功報酬でのボーナスとのこと。

ポルトの下部組織で育ったヴィエイラは、順調に昇格し2020年6月にファーストチームに昇格した。

2シーズンで公式戦76試合に出場し10ゴール18アシスト。左利きのヴィエイラは、攻撃的なMFでサイドのポジションやボランチでもプレーが可能。セカンドトップとしてもプレーし、セットプレーも任されていた。

今シーズンはプリメイラ・リーガで27試合に出場し6ゴール14アシスト。チャンピオンズリーグでも2試合、ヨーロッパリーグでも3試合に出場し、いずれも1アシストを記録していた。

また、世代別のポルトガル代表を経験しており、U-21ポルトガル代表ではキャプテンも務め、2021年のU-21欧州選手権では準優勝の成績を残していた。

アーセナル加入が決まったヴィエイラについてミケル・アルテタ監督は以下のように話した。

レアルやユーベがここ数日で獲得トライも…イタリア代表DFカラフィオーリが望んだのは実現へ向かうアーセナル移籍のみ
