レヴァンドフスキは29日に行われたカタールW杯欧州予選プレーオフ決勝のスウェーデン代表戦に先発した。前半11分にはヘディングシュートを放つなどゴールに向けて積極的な姿勢を見せると、49分にはチームメイトが得たPKを冷静に決めて先制点を記録。チームはその後に追加点を挙げると、最後までリードを守り抜き、2-0で勝利した。
自身にとって2回目となるW杯本大会出場が決定したことについて、試合後のインタビューに応じたレヴァンドフスキは喜びを露わに。PKのシーンでは大きなプレッシャーがあったと明かしつつ、勝利に貢献できたことを誇った。

2022年プスカシュ賞は衝撃バイシクル弾!アンプティサッカー界から史上初受賞

選手にボトルが直撃…アルバニアファンがゴールに怒りスタンドから大量のボトル投げ込む
