ウェストハムは31日、CSKAモスクワからクロアチア代表MFニコラ・ヴラシッチ(23)を獲得したことを発表した。契約は5年で、移籍金はイギリスメディアによると2600万ポンド(約40億円)と見込まれている。
ヴラシッチは2017年夏にハイドゥク・スプリトからエバートンに加入したものの、あまり出場機会に恵まれず、翌夏にCSKAへレンタル移籍した。
CSKAでは初年度からロシア・プレミアリーグで25試合5ゴール5アシスト、チャンピオンズリーグで6試合3ゴール2アシストと大活躍。さらに2019-20シーズンには、リーグ戦で30試合12ゴール5アシストを記録し、年間最優秀選手に選ばれた。
今季もリーグ戦5試合に出場していた中で、通算では公式戦108試合で33ゴール21アシストの数字を残し、満を持してイングリッシュ・プレミアリーグに復帰。19試合のみの出場に終わったエバートンでの雪辱を期す。

足首があらぬ方向に…試合中のアクシデントに負傷させてしまった相手選手が号泣

日本人も多くプレーするイングランド女子サッカーの人気沸騰…残り6節で最多入場者数を更新、2月には歴代最多の1試合6万人超
イングランドでの女子サッカー熱はかなり高まりを見せているようだ。 FA女子スーパーリーグ(FAWSL)は、イングランドの女子サッカーの最高峰リーグ。プレミアリーグに所属するトップクラブの女子チームの多くが参戦している。 近年は日本人選手も大量にプレーしており、今シーズンはなでしこジャパンでプレーするMF長谷川唯(マンチェスター・シティ)、MF長野風花(リバプール)、FW宮澤ひなた(マンチェスター・ユナイテッド)、DF清水梨紗、MF林穂之香、FW植木理子(いずれもウェストハム)、FW浜野まいか(チェルシー)、MF籾木結花、MF宝田沙織(共にレスター・シティ)がプレーしている。 その他にもワールドクラスの選手が多くプレーするFAWSLだが、今シーズンの人気は圧倒的だという。 イギリス『BBC』によると、15日にスタンフォード・ブリッジで行われたチェルシーvsアーセナルでは、チェルシーがクラブ記録となる3万2970人を動員したとのこと。この試合により、今シーズンの総入場者数が71万7721人となった。 年々人気が高まっており、2022-23シーズンは過去最高の入場者数を記録。その数は68万9297人であり、すでに今シーズンは記録を更新することとなった。 なお、リーグ戦は残り6節、36試合あり、いかに今シーズンの集客数が飛び抜けているかが分かるだろう。 その要因の1つは男子チームが使用するスタジアムでの試合数が増加したこともあるとされ、スタジアムのキャパシティが大幅に増えたことが影響。ただ、そのキャパシティを埋めるだけの観客が集まることが熱狂を産んでいる。 2月にはアーセナルがマンチェスター・ユナイテッドをエミレーツ・スタジアムに迎えた試合で、6万160人を動員。これはFAWSL史上最高記録となっている。 2024.03.20 13:10 Wed
