スイスサッカー協会(SFV)は9日、スイス代表の新監督にムラト・ヤキン氏(46)を招へいしたことを発表した。

契約期間は2022年のカタール・ワールドカップまでとなり、延長オプションがついている。

スイス代表はユーロ2020ではグループ3位で通過。ラウンド16ではフランス代表をPK戦の末に撃破するも、準々決勝ではスペイン代表にPK戦の末に敗れていた。
躍進を見せたスイス代表は、ウラジミール・ペトコビッチ監督が率いており、2014年のブラジル・ワールドカップを率いたオットマー・ヒッツフェルト監督から引き継義、7年にわたって指揮を執った。

しかし、そのペトコビッチ監督は、今シーズンからボルドーの監督に就任。そのため、スイス代表の後任監督が注目され、一時はアーセナルを長年指揮したアーセン・ヴェンゲル氏が浮上していた。
ムラト・ヤキン新監督は、現役時代は川辺駿が所属するグラスホッパーや遠藤航が所属するシュツットガルト、フェネルバフチェ、バーゼル、カイザースラウテルンなどでプレー。2006年7月に現役を引退していた。

スイス代表としても49試合に出場し4ゴールを記録。1994年にデビューを果たし、2004年のドイツ・ワールドカップ予選までプレーしていた。

引退後は指導者の道を歩み、トゥンやルツェルン、バーゼル、グラスホッパー、シオンなど、スイス国内を中心に指揮。国外でのしきはロシアのスパルタク・モスクワで2014-15シーズンの1シーズン指揮していた。

2019年7月からはシャフハウゼンで指揮を執っていたが、今回のスイス代表監督就任を受けて退任している。

スイス代表が招集発表! ジャカやザカリア、リカルド・ロドリゲスらを順当に選出《ユーロ2024予選》

フロレンツィがふくらはぎ負傷で第2戦のスイス戦欠場へ

ローマのイタリア代表DFアレッサンドロ・フロレンツィが、16日に行われるユーロ2020グループA第2節スイス代表戦を欠場するようだ。イタリア『スカイ』が報じている。 フロレンツィは11日に行われたユーロ2020開幕戦のトルコ代表戦で先発するも、前半のみの出場となっていた。『スカイ』によればふくらはぎを痛めたとのことで、スイス戦の出場は厳しい模様だ。 ただ、20日に行われる第3戦のウェールズ代表戦には出場できる可能性があり、今後も状態をチェックしていくと報じている。 また、初戦のトルコ戦を負傷欠場していたMFマルコ・ヴェッラッティに関しても、スイス戦の出場は難しいとのことだ。 2021.06.12 23:00 Sat
