マンチェスター・シティが、ベンフィカのスペイン人DFアレハンドロ・グリマルド(25)に関心を持っているようだ。
グリマルドはバルセロナのカンテラ出身の左サイドバック。2016年1月にベンフィカに移籍し、バルセロナ育ちらしいテクニックや攻撃センス、セットプレーにおける飛び道具を武器に2016-17シーズンからレギュラーとしてプレーしている。
ここまで公式戦201試合に出場している同選手には、以前はバルセロナも復帰を検討していた模様。最近ではラツィオやシャフタール・ドネツクが注目しているとポルトガル『O Jogo』が報じていたが、両クラブともベンフィカの求める2000万ユーロ(約26億円)の移籍金を用意できなかったと言われている。
しかし、ポルトガルの移籍市場に詳しいペドロ・アウメイダ氏は、現在はマンチェスター・シティもその争奪戦に参加したと主張している。また、これに伴い、ベンフィカではより高い利益が得られると見込んで、移籍金を3000万ユーロ(約39億円)に引き上げようとする動きが見られているようだ。
