1位に輝いたのは、アストン・ビラでプレーするスイス女子代表のアリーシャ・レーマン。世界一セクシーなアスリートとしても知られ、インスタグラムのフォロワーは1340万人。元プロテニスプレーヤーのロジャー・フェデラーを超え、インスタグラムで最も人気のあるスイス人アスリートとなっている。 イングランド代表のトーマス・トゥヘル監督が、ラトビア代表戦で外れる3名を決定した。 トーマス・トゥヘル監督が就任したイングランド代表。21日には初陣で2026年北中米W杯の欧州予選のアルバニア代表戦を行い勝利を収めていた。 トゥヘル監督にとっての初陣で白星となった中、第2戦のラトビア戦が開催。26名の選手を招集していた中で、ベンチ入り23名を再び選ぶこととなった。 アルバニア戦では、GKアーロン・ラムズデール(サウサンプトン)、MFモーガン・ギブス=ホワイト(ノッティンガム・フォレスト)、DFジャレル・クアンサー(リバプール)が外れていた中、アルバニア戦で負傷したFWアンソニー・ゴードン(ニューカッスル・ユナイテッド)が離脱していた。 残り2名で外れるのは、ニューカッスルのDFヴァレンティノ・リヴラメントと、ラムズデールの2名。リヴラメントはアルバニア戦でベンチ入りも出番はなく、今回の活動では出番なしで終了することとなった。なお、アルバニア戦で外れていたギブス=ホワイト、クアンサーはベンチ入りすることとなる。 トゥヘル監督はこの決定について「最高のチームを見つけるために、プロセスを正しく実行する必要がある」とコメント。「もしそれが、非常に優秀で才能のある選手をチームから外すことを意味するのであれば、これは起こり得ることだ。今後16カ月で重要なのは、最も才能のある26人の選手ではなく、適切なチームを見つけることだ」と語った。 また「チームを正しい方向に導く必要がある。チームスピリットを正しく保つ必要がある。予選を戦うことと、トーナメントでプレーすることは別問題だからだ」とし、しっかりと予選を勝ち抜くことがまずは大事だとした。 2025.03.24 23:45 Mon
