アーセナルのアカデミーは、10歳の少年レオ・メッソくんを獲得した。イギリス『フットボール・ロンドン』が伝えている。バルセロナのリオネル・メッシを彷彿とさせる名前の少年は、ロンドン生まれのケニア人の少年で、これまではウェストハムのアカデミーでプレーしていたという。
また、メッシとメッソくんが似ているのは名前だけでなく、メッシと同じFWで左利きとのことだ。
メッソくんは19日、父親とともにチームのトレーニング施設などを見学した後にクラブとサイン。元ドイツ代表DFで現在はアーセナルのアカデミーでマネージャーを務めるペア・メルテザッカー氏とも2ショットを撮影。アーセナルのアカデミーでは9番を背負うことになり、ユニフォームを手にしている。

メッシと妻は30年来の仲、幼馴染の2人が結ばれW杯で優勝するまで

C・ロナウド、メッシを追走したインドの伝説的FWスニル・チェトリが39歳で代表引退を決断…代表通算150試合94ゴール
