フランクフルトでは取締役兼SDを務めるフレディ・ボビッチ氏が、家族との時間を優先するため、今シーズン限りでの退団を希望している。
先日にはクラブの定例会議の場において、2023年6月30日までの現行契約の早期契約解消を認めないとの決定が下されたが、同氏に対して他クラブからオファーが届いた場合は退団を容認する構えだ。
そして、ここ最近の報道ではヘルタ・ベルリンに移る可能性が濃厚となっており、クラブもボビッチ氏退任に備えて新たなSD候補をリストアップしている。
そういった中、『ビルト』が伝えるところによれば、現時点で有力候補に浮上しているのが、バイエルンとドイツ代表のレジェンドであるシュバインシュタイガー氏だという。
その一方で、先日のインタビューでは「私はチームを実際に形成することができ、責任を負うことができるポジションに惹かれている。私自身、成功する方法を理解しているからね」と、クラブのフロント業務への関心を認めていた。

フランクフルト、メインスポンサーのIndeedと2026年まで契約延長
