今回はオーランド・プライドのアメリカ女子代表FWアレックス・モーガンがトッテナムで決めた最初のゴールだ。

◆No.1美女ストライカー、モーガンのトッテナム初ゴール

アメリカ女子代表として2015年の女子ワールド・カップ(W杯)から2大会連続制覇に導くなど、現役女子選手の中で絶対的な存在として君臨するモーガン。

2016年からナショナル・ウーマンズ・サッカーリーグ(NWSL)のオーランド・プライドでプレーしているが、2020年9月から12月まで、期限付きでトッテナム女子チームに加入していた。

トッテナムでは、公式戦5試合に出場し、2ゴールをマークしたが、その記念すべき初ゴールは、2020年12月6日に行われたFA女子スーパーリーグ(FAWSL)第8節のブライトン&ホーヴ・アルビオン戦で決めたゴールだった。

この試合に先発出場を果たしたモーガンだったが、2-1とトッテナムリードの84分、味方がボックス内で倒され、PKを獲得。PKキッカーを務めたモーガンは、短い助走から落ち着いてGKの逆を突いたシュートを沈め、トッテナム移籍後初ゴールを記録した。

試合は、モーガンのPKなど、3ゴールを挙げたトッテナムが3-1で勝利している。

代表200試合越えの米女子代表モーガン、記念スパイク着用で試合後インタビューには娘と登場

カシージャスの心臓発作後に最初に連絡を入れたのはモウリーニョ! 「最初に心配してくれた人」

「トッテナム」は禁止、「スパーズ」で…クラブが改めて通達、放送局からも「トッテナム」表記が消える

「僕が何をしたってあの男は…」トッテナムで主力に成長のDFスペンス、かつての指揮官コンテから受けた冷遇振り返り「謙虚になりすぎた」
