アストン・ビラは21日、INAC神戸レオネッサのなでしこジャパンFW岩渕真奈(27)を完全移籍で獲得したことを発表した。岩渕は日テレ・メニーナから2007年に日テレ・ベレーザに昇格。2013年にドイツのホッフェンハイムへと移籍すると、2014年からはバイエルンでプレー。2017年7月からINAC神戸に加入していた。

INAC神戸ではなでしこリーグで47試合に出場し11得点を記録。なでしこカップでは9試合で1得点を記録していた。
また、U-17、U-20の女子ワールドカップに出場すると、なでしこジャパンとしても2011年に優勝した女子ワールドカップに出場。また、2015年のカナダ大会、2019年のフランス大会に出場したほか、2012年のロンドン・オリンピックにも出場した。代表通算では72試合出場し29得点を記録している。

アストン・ビラのジェマ・デイビス監督は「マナのような力を持った選手が1月から加わることを非常に嬉しく思う。彼女は、チームに豊富な経験をもたらすだけでなく、我々の攻撃に異なる次元をもたらすだろう。彼女はとてもテクニカルなプレーヤーであり、狭いスペースで力を発揮する。アストン・ビラで彼女が成長し続けることを待ちきれない」とコメント。大きな期待を寄せていた。
アストン・ビラは2020-21シーズンのFA Women’s Super Leagueで現在11位(12チーム中)と下位に低迷している。

ソックスは「赤」、日本代表のアウェイユニフォームが発表!南野拓実「美しい日本のイメージが表現」

アストン・ビラがスタジアム改修をスタート、ユーロ2028の会場となり5万人収容に変貌へ
