若くしてイタリアのウディネーゼに引き抜かれたサンチェスは、同クラブでブレイク。その後バルセロナやアーセナル、マンチェスター・ユナイテッド、そしてインテルとビッグクラブを渡り歩いている。
突破力抜群のドリブルと、高い決定力を武器に各チームで活躍を続けるサンチェスだが、バルセロナ時代の2014年5月17日に行われたラ・リーガ第38節のアトレティコ・マドリー戦では、豪快なゴールを決めている。
0-0で迎えた34分、MFセスク・ファブレガスがボックス内にボールを入れる。これをFWリオネル・メッシが相手を背負いながら胸でトラップ。このトラップはやや伸びてしまったものの、これをボックス右で拾ったサンチェスがダイレクトで豪快なシュート。

ユーベ、CL制覇に“MCA”形成を画策?
