サッカーにおいて、1試合で3得点以上を決めることを表す「ハットトリック」。元々はクリケットで打者を三者連続アウトにすることをそう呼んでいた。(クリケットにおいて打者を連続でアウトにすることは相当難易度が高い)サッカー選手にとって、「ハットトリック」は実力を証明する功績でもあるが、そう簡単にはお目にかかれない。この企画『HAT-TRICK HEROES』では記憶に残る「ハットトリック」を紹介していく。

今回は、ユベントスの元アルゼンチン代表FWゴンサロ・イグアインが決めたハットトリックだ。
◆イグアインがわずか20分で三発の乱れ撃ち

2016年夏にナポリから加わったイグアインは、ミランとチェルシーへのレンタル移籍を経験しながらも、2019-20シーズンはユベントスでプレー。これまで公式戦149試合に出場し66ゴールを決めているが、2018年2月4日に行われたセリエA第23節のサッスオーロ戦でハットトリックを記録している。

前半のうちに4-0と試合を決めたユベントスだったが、後半も攻撃の手を緩めない。
63分、ペナルティーアーク内でMFフェデリコ・ベルナルデスキのパスを受けたイグアインは反転から右足を振り抜くと、グラウンダーのシュートがゴール左へと突き刺さる。

さらに74分、MFクラウディオ・マルキージオからのロングパスに抜け出すと、見事なトラップから最後は相手GKまでかわして無人のゴールに流し込み2点目を記録する。

そして83分、ベルナルデスキのスルーパスに反応すると、詰めてきたGKの上を通る優しいループシュートでハットトリックを達成。試合はこのまま7-0とユベントスが完璧なパフォーマンスで勝利を手にしている。

元ブラジル代表DFルシオ氏が家庭内の事故で緊急入院…現在はICUで経過観察
