ヴィッセル神戸に所属する元ドイツ代表FWルーカス・ポドルスキがチームの歴史に名を刻み、満足感を示した。
神戸は1日、新たに完成した国立競技場で鹿島アントラーズと激突。立ち上がりから試合を優位に進めた神戸がJ屈指のタイトルホルダーを2-0で破り、クラブ創設25年目で悲願の初タイトルを手にした。
2017年夏から神戸に加入したポドルスキはこの試合に先発。28分にゴールネットを揺らした場面こそオフサイドの判定で幻となったが、18分にオウンゴールを誘い、チームに先制点をもたらすなど随所に格の違いをみせつけた。
加入3年目の今季、個人としてコンディション不良が続き、総じて不完全燃焼に終わったものの、最後の最後にクラブとして悲願の主要タイトル獲得に貢献したポドルスキ。試合後、ミックスゾーンでその心境をこう明かしている。

ドイツ代表の新10番背負うムシアラ…「いつかその番号を着けたいと思っていた」

神戸がセネガル代表FWを補強? ガラタサライFWディアニェに興味

サンフレッチェ広島のミヒャエル・スキッベ監督が、Jリーグや日本サッカーについて語った。 2022年から広島の指揮官に就任したスキッベ監督。これまでシャルケやドルトムントのユースチームや、ファーストチーム、レバークーゼン、ガラタサライ、フランクフルト、ヘルタ・ベルリン、グラスホッパーなどで指揮していた。 広島では、就任1年目から結果を残し、明治安田生命J1リーグで3位、YBCルヴァンカップで優勝、天皇杯で準優勝と全ての大会でトップ3に入ることに。2年目の今シーズンもここまで4位と好成績を残している。 そんな中、スキッベ監督はドイツ『RND』でのインタビューに応じ、ドイツでの経験 がありながらJリーグで指揮を執ることがステップダウンではないかと問われ、その考えを否定した。 「私はそうは思わない。日本のサッカーはここ数年で非常に発展している。今、Jリーグはとてもハイペースで進んでいる」 「最近、サンフレッチェがルーカス・ポドルスキの古巣でもあるヴィッセル神戸と対戦したとき、私のディフェンダーは大迫勇也や武藤嘉紀のようなストライカーに対処しなければいけなかった。2人ともブンデスリーガでの経験があるが、まだ全盛期のプレーができる」 ドイツでの指導経験が長いスキッベ監督。素晴らしいキャリアを過ごした中で、母国のドイツとJリーグの比較についても見解を明かした。 「まだ完全ではないが、とても早く追いつきつつある。日本のクラブが直面する問題の1つは、ハイレベルの親善試合ができるのかどうかということだ。ヨーロッパではそれは全く問題ではなく、近隣諸国には競争力のあるクラブが存在する」 「アジアでは距離がはるかに遠く、Jリーグのようなレベルのチームがあるのは、おそらく韓国だけだろう。とはいえ、クラブよりも学校や大学を志向する日本の育成システムは、トップ選手を何度も輩出している。そして、そんな若い選手たちと一緒に仕事をするのは、とても楽しいことだ」 強豪クラブとのテストマッチの実施が困難だと語るスキッベ監督。広島は、今シーズンの開幕前もトルコでキャンプを行い、ヨーロッパのクラブとのプレシーズンマッチを実施。地理的な問題を解決する策を見せた。 また、プロ1年目から主軸としてプレーしたMF満田誠や、今シーズンもMF越道草太(←サンフレッチェ広島ユース)、DF中野就斗(←桐蔭横浜大学)と、ルーキーを積極的に起用しているが、日本独自の育成方法にも手応えを感じているようだ。 そのスキッベ監督だが、よく選手を褒めている。悪い部分がもちろんあっても、良い部分を褒めて伸ばす。選手とのコミュニケーションもしっかり取るスタイルだが、その点についても言及した。 「私がチームをよく褒めるというのは、実はよく言われることだ。どうやら、ここでは良い試合や行いをした後でも、スープの中の髪の毛を探すのが一般的なようだ」 「しかし、私はいつも積極的なコミュニケーションによって、選手との距離を縮めることができると確信している。批判も称賛で包むべきだ」 「ただ、全体的には上手くいっている。練習場が広島郊外の山間にあることもあり、クラブには家族的な雰囲気がある。日本のメディア環境がドイツに比べて控えめであることも一因だ」 広島というチーム、そして日本での環境を非常にポジティブに捉えているスキッベ監督。今シーズンはどこまで結果を残せるのか、注目が集まる。 2023.06.08 23:01 Thu

神戸がポーランドのグールニク・ザブジェとパートナーシップ締結…両クラブ在籍のポドルスキが橋渡し

「スペインより日本の方が長い」来日5年のイニエスタが8歳長男の誕生日を祝福!「お父さんにそっくり」

ベッカムに並ぶ“イケメン”…日韓W杯で一大ブームとなったイルハンはすっかり“イケオジ”に

来日5年‥家族も2人増えたイニエスタの妻が改めて心境を綴る「この冒険を一緒に生き続けることは光栄です!」
