神戸は1日、新たに完成した国立競技場で鹿島アントラーズと激突。立ち上がりから試合を優位に進めた神戸がJ屈指のタイトルホルダーを2-0で破り、クラブ創設25年目で悲願の初タイトルを手にした。
2017年夏から神戸に加入したポドルスキはこの試合に先発。28分にゴールネットを揺らした場面こそオフサイドの判定で幻となったが、18分にオウンゴールを誘い、チームに先制点をもたらすなど随所に格の違いをみせつけた。
加入3年目の今季、個人としてコンディション不良が続き、総じて不完全燃焼に終わったものの、最後の最後にクラブとして悲願の主要タイトル獲得に貢献したポドルスキ。試合後、ミックスゾーンでその心境をこう明かしている。

「反吐が出る」ポドルスキが罪を犯した元同僚を厳しく非難「子供に対する犯罪ほど酷いものは無い」

イニエスタの甥っ子がキュート!スペインの母の日に“母デビュー”の姉にエール
