チェルシーに所属するイングランド代表FWカラム・ハドソン=オドイが、マンチェスター・シティに所属する同国代表FWラヒーム・スターリングについて言及した。イギリス『スカイ・スポーツ』が伝えている。

昨シーズンにマウリツィオ・サッリ前監督に見いだされ、公式戦23試合に出場してブレイクを遂げたハドソン=オドイ。今シーズンは、昨シーズン終盤の重傷により、出遅れたものの公式戦11試合に出場し、1ゴール4アシストを記録している。

この活躍もあり、ハドソン=オドイは今回の代表ウィークで7カ月半ぶりにイングランド代表へ復帰。その同国代表では、同選手と同じポジションのスターリングが、リバプールのDFジョー・ゴメスとのひと悶着により、14日にホームで行われるユーロ2020予選のモンテネグロ代表戦に向けたメンバーからの除外された。

それでもハドソン=オドイはスターリングが「アイドルのような存在」だと主張する。

イングランド代表のユニフォームが変? ファンが気づいた異変はベテランキットマンのまさかのミス…「間違ってしまった」
