サンティアゴ・ソラーリ体制発足の今シーズン途中から先発機会が減り、移籍志願の噂が飛び交うマルセロ。レアル・マドリーで親交の深かったポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドを擁するユベントスが有力な移籍先として浮上している状況だった。
そうしたなか、レアル・マドリーと2020年6月まで契約を残すマルセロに対して、とうとうユベントスとの合意報道が飛び出した。契約期間は4年。年俸は1200万ユーロ(約14億9000万円)だという。実現すれば、友人C・ロナウドのラブコールが実ることになる。
攻撃的左サイドバックとして名を轟かせるマルセロは2007年1月、フルミネンセから加入。在籍13年間で公式戦通算476試合36得点88アシストを誇り、リーガエスパニョーラ制覇やチャンピオンズリーグ、FIFAクラブ・ワールドカップを全て4度ずつ制するなど数々のタイトルに貢献してきた。

ニューカッスルからレンタル中のケリーがユベントスに完全移籍へ!出場基準を満たし買い取り義務が発動
