▽UEFAネーションズリーグ・リーグAグループ4、スペインvsイングランドが15日に行われ、イングランドが3-2で勝利した。同試合では前半にFWラヒーム・スターリングの2ゴールと、FWマーカス・ラッシュフォードのゴールで3点を先行したイングランドが後半のホームチームの反撃を凌ぎ切って見事に今大会初勝利を飾っていた。

▽同試合で[4-3-3]のアンカーポジションに入ったダイアーは、持ち味の球際の強さを生かしたソリッドな守備とシンプルなボール捌きをみせ、中盤に安定感をもたらすなど上々のパフォーマンスだった。
▽しかし、今回リバプールファンが絶賛したプレーは前半にスペイン代表DFセルヒオ・ラモス相手に見せたハードタックルだった。自陣ボックス内で味方からのバックパスを受けたセルヒオ・ラモスに対して、ダイアーは猛然とプレッシャーをかけてやや大きくなったトラップ際に強烈なタックルを敢行。そのタックルはきっちりボールを捉えたものの、ついでにセルヒオ・ラモスの身体を巻き込み厳しいチャレンジとなった。

北中米W杯の欧州予選組み合わせ決定! 12カ国+POの4カ国が出場権獲得、来年3月からスタート【2026年北中米W杯欧州予選】

イングランド代表のユニフォームが変? ファンが気づいた異変はベテランキットマンのまさかのミス…「間違ってしまった」

ブリッジは“不倫男”テリーを未だに許さず? 自身の近くに引っ越し発覚後、自宅を売却に出す
