▽マンチェスター・シティのブラジル代表GKエデルソンが、同胞のリバプールGKアリソン・ベッカーについて「一歩先にいる」とコメントしている。ブラジル『Globo Esporte』のインタビューを、イギリス『デイリー・メール』が伝えている。

▽GKにも足元の技術が求められるモダン・フットボールにおいて、エデルソンやアリソンはその先駆けともいえる存在だ。ともにブラジル代表の2人は、それぞれシティとリバプール、同じプレミアリーグで鎬を削りあっている。

▽そんな中、エデルソンがライバル・アリソンについて言及。今夏、ローマから6700万ポンド(約99億円)の移籍金でリバプールに移籍したアリソンは、先のロシア・ワールドカップで全5試合に出場。エデルソンは自身と比較し「彼は一歩先にいる」との見解を示した。
「僕らには似たようなところがいくつもあると思う。彼はリバプールで素晴らしいスタートを切ったね」

「GKというポジションは残酷だ。プレーできるのはたった1人だからね。だけど僕らはともにイングランドでよくやっていると思う。今は彼が一歩先にいるけどね。彼はワールドカップでレギュラーだった。だけどそれは僕が怠けていたということじゃないよ」
▽また、今月行われるサウジアラビア代表戦(12日)とアルゼンチン代表戦(16日)に関して、エデルソンは以下のことを明かしている。

「昨日のトレーニングでチッチ(アデノール・レオナルド・バッチ監督)が僕ら2人を読んで、僕を最初の試合(サウジアラビア戦)、アリソンを次の試合(アルゼンチン戦)で使うことを教えてくれた」

2万8000人以上のプロ選手が投票したFIFPROワールドイレブンが決定! レアルから6人、シティから4人が選出!

頭部強打で病院搬送のエリック・ガルシアが無事退院

ブラジル代表FWリシャルリソンがアニメキャラ4体の“タトゥー”!孫悟空の下にはディズニーの人気キャラ

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

ロナウドが日韓W杯での“大五郎カット”を謝罪、奇抜な髪型の裏事情とは?

ネイマール、2014年W杯の大ケガを振り返る「あと2センチずれていたら歩けなくなっていた」
