オフサイドのルールを大幅変更? ヴェンゲル氏が提案した「体の一部」から「全部」に変更をIFABが検討か…誤審被害も大幅に減少か
サッカー界に大きな革命が起こる可能性があるようだ。 サッカーのルールなどを制定する組織である国際サッカー評議会(IFAB)。これまでも様々なルールの変更や、その解釈の変更などを行ってきている。 VAR(ビデオ・アシスタント・レフェリー)をはじめ、テクノロジーの導入も進んでいるサッカー界。ただ、あくまでも補助的な役割でもあり、権限は主審が握っている状況。一方で、明確な間違いには介入できるはずのVARが人的ミスを起こすことも世界中で頻繁に起きており、テクノロジーを導入したが故にミスが許されず、大きな批判の対象にもなっている。 多くの誤審が防がれる一方で、未だに問題が残っているのがオフサイド。VARが介入してもミスが続くなどしている。 そんな中、IFABがオフサイドの解釈を変更する可能性があるとスペイン『マルカ』が報道。かつてアーセナルを指揮し、現在は国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)の国際サッカー発展部門の責任者を務めているアーセン・ヴェンゲル氏の提案を支持する可能性があるという。 オフサイドのルールは明白。IFABの定義では「頭、体、足のいずれかの部分が、ボールと最後尾から2番目の相手選手の両方よりも相手ゴールラインに近い」場合は、オフサイドと判定されるという。 このルールは数十年変更されておらず、たまに生まれる勘違いがは、「手や腕」はオフサイドに関係ないものの、これをオフサイドと主張するもの。「脇よりも先」はプレーできる場所ではないため、オフサイドにはならない。 一方で、オフサイドになるのは「脇の下」が最後であり、このラインをVARではチェックすることが多くなる。 ただ、それを見極めることはなかなか難しいもの。そこでヴェンゲル氏が提案したのは、「選手の体全てが最後のDFを超えた場合」をオフサイドとするというものだ。 つまり、現行ルールの体の一部が「わずかにオフサイドラインを越える」という曖昧なものをやめ、「完全に越えたかどうか」がポイントになるとのこと。肉眼でも判別しやすいものであり、焦点となりそうなのは、踵が残るかどうかというところだろう。 オフサイドが試合結果に影響することは多く、特にタイトル争いや残留争いをするチームにとってはシビアな問題に。「あの勝ち点があれば」と、誤審の被害に遭ったチームの関係者はストレスを溜めることになるが、誤審も大幅に減ると期待されている。 報道によれば、2024-25シーズンにも導入する可能性があるとのこと。このルールに変更されれば、頭に思い浮かぶオフサイドの誤審はほとんどなくなるはずだ。 また、ディフェンスラインとの駆け引きが巧みな選手やスピードを武器とするストライカーはゴール量産が期待できる可能性も。ディフェンダーにとっては難しさが増しそうだが、選手や監督、審判、ファンなど多くの人にとってはプラスに働きそうだが、どうなるだろうか。 <span class="paragraph-title">【写真】変更される可能性のある新旧オフサイドルールの差</span> <span data-other-div="movie"></span> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"> <a href="https://t.co/A7351jnMP7">pic.twitter.com/A7351jnMP7</a></p>— 433 (@433) <a href="https://twitter.com/433/status/1675597068839124994?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">July 2, 2023</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> 2023.11.19 22:11 Sun

ヴェンゲル、スアレスへの“4000万1ポンド”オファーを反省 「馬鹿げていた…」

ケガ、代理人の死、実兄からの恐喝事件…ポグバが苦難に満ちた1年間を回想「身体がついてこなかった」
ユベントスのフランス代表MFポール・ポグバが苦難に満ちた1年間を振り返った。 マンチェスター・ユナイテッドとの契約が満了した昨夏、ユベントスへとフリー移籍したポグバ。6年ぶりの古巣復帰には背番号「10」が与えられ、スクデット奪還を目論むチームのキーマンとして大きな期待が寄せられた。 しかし、待っていたのはケガとの戦い。開幕前から長期離脱してカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)行きを逃しただけでなく、戦列復帰後も幾度となく再発を振り返した結果、1年を通して公式戦の出場が10試合にとどまった。 フランス『Views』のインタビューに応じたポグバはケガのみならず、自身の代理人であったミーノ・ライオラ氏の死去、実兄による自身への恐喝事件などが重なった今シーズンを「人生最大の試練だった」と振り返った。 「自分が30歳になったなんて少し奇妙に感じるよ。僕は25歳で父親になり、家族と子どもたちに責任があるから、何も変わらないはずだけどね。常に自分らしくいようと努めているけど、成熟し、人生経験が増え、少しは責任感を持てるようになったと思うよ」 「この数カ月、あらゆることが僕を大きく成長させてくれたと思う。たった7カ月で10年分の人生を歩んだかのようだ(笑) これは人生の道のりであり、試練だよ。僕自身は前向きに捉えたい。何が大切なのかを学べたよ」 ポジティブな姿勢を語った一方、この1年間は多少なりともメンタルに不安があったことも認めている。 「自分をコントロールするのは結局のところ、頭だよ。頭の中がスッキリしていなければ、身体もついてこないんだ。ケガの原因はこの点だったと思う。僕の頭はサッカー以外で起きた問題にもストレスを感じ、全身が緊張に苛まれた。早くピッチに戻って雑音を取り除きたかったんだけどね」 ケガでなかなかピッチに戻れなかったことにより、大きな批判を浴びる時期もあったポグバ。来シーズンに懸ける思いは強い。 「ケガだけでなく、サッカー以外にも問題があった…間違いなく人生最大の試練だったよ。だけど、全て乗り越えられれば、僕の人生にとって最大の勝利となる。勝利のためになんだってやる準備ができているよ」 2023.06.17 20:35 Sat

「鶏デカすぎ」「ケンタッキーとのコラボか?」フランス代表の新ユニフォームにはビッグサイズのロゴが採用「巨大すぎない?」
