サッカーの試合で最もボルテージが上がる瞬間と言っても良いのがゴールシーン。どのカテゴリーの試合でも、間違いなく観る者、そしてプレーする選手のテンションを上げる場面だ。 そのゴールシーンでは、各選手が特徴的なゴールパフォーマンスを見せ、ゴールを多く決める選手ほど、その代名詞とも言えるパフォーマンスを持っている。 現代サッカー界で最も広く知られているのは、マンチェスター・ユナイテッドのポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドが見せるポーズだろうか。ゴールを決めた勢いのまま走り出すと、コーナーフラッグでジャンプし反転。「Siiiii!(イエース!)」と絶叫し、両手を広げながら着地する仁王立ちパフォーマンスは知られたものだろう。観客もパフォーマンスに合わせて「Siiiii!」というものだ。 その他にもゴールパフォーマンスを見せる選手は多く、バク宙をする選手や勢いをつけてヒザで滑るもの、ハートを手で作ったり、古くは指輪にキスをするなど様々。世のサッカー少年は、好きな選手のパフォーマンスを真似するのに必死なはずだ。 そのゴールパフォーマンスだが、右手を高く掲げるゴールパフォーマンスを見たことはあるだろうか。シンプルなパフォーマンスだが、対戦相手にとっては悪夢とも言えるこのポーズは、かつてイングランド代表のエースであったアラン・シアラーのものだ。 <span class="paragraph-title">◆商標登録されるパフォーマンス</span> 特段目立つパフォーマンスでもなく、むしろ地味でシンプルなものだが、ことシアラーの右手を掲げるパフォーマンスは誇り高きパフォーマンスとして愛されている。 このパフォーマンスは商標登録されるほど。もちろん、パフォーマンスをすることが他の選手に禁じられているわけではなく、シアラーが右手を高く掲げるこのパフォーマンスの写真等を使用した商品は、10%がチャリティに寄付されるというものだ。 それだけこのパフォーマンスの価値が高いということを示しており、イングランドにとって重要なパフォーマンスであることが知れるところ。プレミアリーグにおける最多得点記録保持者ということでも、どれほど多くの回数右手が掲げられたかがわかるだろう。 ニューカッスル出身のシアラーは、サウサンプトンの下部組織で育ち、1988年にアーセナル戦でプロデビューを果たす。 そのデビュー戦では、まさかのハットトリック達成。2点ビハインドから3点を奪い、チームに勝利をもたらせたことで一気に注目を集めることに。シアラーが17歳で成し遂げたことだった。 当時はプレミアリーグ発足前、ファーストディビジョンとして行われたリーグだが、1992-93シーズンに開幕したプレミアリーグで、一気にシアラーの得点力が花開くことに。スコアラーとしての地位を確立していくこととなる。 <span class="paragraph-title">◆大舞台で輝くストライカー</span> そのシアラーがイングランド代表としてデビューを果たしたのは1992年2月。フランス代表とのフレンドリーマッチだった。 フランスはエリック・カントナやジャン=ピエール・パパン、ディディエ・デシャンなど、往年のスター選手が出場していた中、シアラーは2トップで先発出場。43分に先制ゴールを記録し、こちらもデビュー戦ゴール。プロデビューに続いて、デビュー戦でいきなりゴールを決めるという勝負強さを見せる。 当時のエースは、後に名古屋グランパスに加入し、Jリーグでもプレーするギャリー・リネカー氏が務めていたが、新たなエース誕生という期待がシアラー氏にかけられていく。しかし、所属クラブとは裏腹に、イングランド代表ではシアラー氏は思うようにゴールを決められない。 シアラー氏がイングランド代表として最も輝いたのは、1996年に行われたユーロ。初戦のスイス代表戦でゴールを決めると、スコットランド代表戦で1ゴール、オランダ代表戦で2ゴールと3試合連続ゴールを記録。準決勝のドイツ代表戦でも1ゴールを決め、大会通算5ゴールで得点王に。チームはベスト4で終わったが、初めてイングランド代表でもその得点力を披露することとなった。 なお、ユーロ初戦でゴールを決めるまで、20試合ゴールを決めていないことも大きな話題となったが、大舞台での活躍で信頼を取り戻す。 その後も、日本代表が初めて出場した1998年のフランス・ワールドカップ(W杯)に向けた欧州予選ではゴールを量産。無事に出場権を獲得すると、本大会でも2ゴールを記録した。 シアラーは2000年のユーロにも出場し、2ゴールを記録。ユーロ予選も含めてゴールを決めた一方で、フレンドリーマッチではほとんどゴールを決めないという不思議な現象もあり、代表通算63試合で30ゴールという成績に。歴代8位という意外な数字で終わっているが、決めなければいけない試合でのゴールをしっかり決める勝負強さを発揮した。 <span class="paragraph-title">◆ストライカーの完成形</span> イングランド代表としては大きな輝きを放てなかったシアラーだが、クラブレベルでの活躍は素晴しいものだった。 プレミアリーグが発足した1992-93シーズンにブラックバーンへと移籍したシアラーは、21試合で16ゴール4アシストを記録。ケガなどもあり満足いく数字を残せなかったが、1993-94シーズンは40試合で31ゴール4アシストと得点を倍増させる。 さらに1994-95シーズンは42試合で34ゴール13アシストとアシスト数も増加。元イングランド代表FWクリス・サットンとのSASコンビでプレミアリーグ得点王に輝くと、チームを優勝に導くことに。ビッグ6と呼ばれるクラブ以外では、“奇跡の優勝”と言われた2015-16シーズンのレスター・シティと共にチャンピオンとして名を残している状況だ。 なお1995-96シーズンは35試合で31ゴール、ニューカッスルへと移籍した1996-97シーズンは31試合で25ゴールを記録し3年連続得点王に輝いていた。 当然その得点力にはビッグクラブが目をつけており、マンチェスター・ユナイテッドやバルセロナなどが獲得に動いたが、自身が愛する地元のクラブであるニューカッスルから離れることはなく、キャリアの終了までプレーした。 シアラーの特徴は、183cmと際立って大柄ではないものの、空中戦にめっぽう強く、ヘディングの技術は卓越したものがあり、多くのゴールにつなげた。 さらにシュートレンジも広く、様々なゴールパターンを持っていることからも、完成されたストライカーの1人として認識され、キャリアの晩年になってもゴールを決め続け、積み上げたプレミアリーグでのゴールは「260」。2位のウェイン・ルーニーが「208」と遠く及んでない。 そのシアラーの記録を抜く可能性を持っているのが、現在のイングランド代表のエースであるトッテナムのハリー・ケインと言われている。現時点で「167」ゴールを記録しており、記録までおよそ100ゴール。28歳のケインがプレミアリーグでプレーを続ければ間違いなく達成されるだろうが、イングランド人FWにとっての目指すべき姿として、今なお愛され続けている。 <div id="cws_ad"><hr>イングランド代表でも活躍し、ニューカッスルのレジェンドとしてプレミアリーグ歴代最多ゴール数を誇るシアラーが大人気スポーツ育成シミュレーションゲーム『プロサッカークラブをつくろう!ロード・トゥ・ワールド』(サカつくRTW)に登場!<br/><br/>イングランド代表としてプレーしたDFソル・キャンベル、FWマイケル・オーウェンと共に現役時代に魅せたゴールが『サカつくRTW』でも再現。是非一度チェックしてみよう。</div> <a href="https://ryan.onelink.me/C7cD?pid=worldsoccer2110&c=worldsoccer2110&is_retargeting=true&af_inactivity_window=3d&af_dp=ryan.app%3A%2F%2F&af_web_dp=http%3A%2F%2Fsakatsuku-rtw.sega.com%2F" target="_blank"><div style="text-align:center;"><img src="https://image.ultra-soccer.jp/900/img/2021/sega20211027.jpg" style="max-width:100%;"></div></a> <span class="paragraph-title">【動画】伝説のストライカー、シアラーのイングランド代表での技ありゴール集!</span> <span data-other-div="movie"></span> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">A huge congratulations to former <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/ThreeLions?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#ThreeLions</a> man <a href="https://twitter.com/alanshearer?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@alanshearer</a> on becoming one of the first inductees into the <a href="https://twitter.com/premierleague?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@premierleague</a> Hall of Fame! <a href="https://t.co/FpxSU7B2cK">pic.twitter.com/FpxSU7B2cK</a></p>— England (@England) <a href="https://twitter.com/England/status/1386592090247860224?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">April 26, 2021</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> <div class="dugout-video dugout-embed-eyJrZXkiOiJzUmR6VnJiMiIsInAiOiJ1bHRyYXNvY2NlciIsInBsIjoiIn0="></div><script type="text/javascript" src="https://embed.dugout.com/v3.1/ultrasoccer.js"></script> 2021.10.27 20:00 Wed

今日は何の日!4月9日は“ゴールの詩人"こと、インテルのルベン・ソサが芸術的なゴールを記録/1995年

サプライヤーなしのウルグアイ代表が新ユニフォームを発表!男女平等促進のため紫色も取り入れた史上初のデザインに
ウルグアイサッカー連盟(AUF)が、ウルグアイ代表の新ユニフォームを発表している。 2024年初頭にプーマとのユニフォームサプライヤー契約が終了したウルグアイ。新たなユニフォームサプライヤーとの契約はまだ結ばれておらず、今回の新ユニフォームもサプライヤーなしでの製作となった。 その新ユニフォームには、男女平等のための戦いに貢献するという目的もあり、3月8日の国際女性デーの枠組みから、ユニフォームの一部に女性に対する暴力根絶のシンボルであるパープルリボンにちなんだ紫色が取り入れられ、「8M」のロゴもあしらわれている。 AUFがこの「8M」のロゴを用いたユニフォームを製作したのは史上初のことであり、23日にバスク代表と、26日にコートジボワール代表と対戦する男子チームの選手たちの試合でお披露目となるということだ。 6月に開幕するコパ・アメリカ2024にも出場するウルグアイだが、このユニフォームを同大会で着用するかどうかは不明だ。 <span class="paragraph-title">【写真&動画】紫色も入ったウルグアイ代表の新ユニフォーム</span> <span data-other-div="movie"></span> <blockquote class="instagram-media" data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-permalink="https://www.instagram.com/p/C4xyP_ksv4o/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading" data-instgrm-version="14" style=" background:#FFF; “つり目”ポーズのU-20ウルグアイ代表MFバルベルデが人種差別を否定も謝罪
▽韓国で行われているFIFA U-20ワールドカップにおいて、人種差別的なジェスチャーをしたとされたレアル・マドリーのU-20ウルグアイ代表MFフェデリコ・バルベルデだが、これを否定した。イギリス『BBC』が報じた。 ▽ウルグアイは、準々決勝でU-20ポルトガル代表と対戦。120分間を終えて2-2のドローとなり、PK戦までもつれた試合を5-4で制したウルグアイが、ベスト4に勝ち進んだ。 ▽この試合でPKによる同点ゴールを決めたバルベルデが、目尻を釣り上げるゴールパフォーマンスを行っていた。このことが問題視され、アジア人に対する差別だと騒がれていたが、本人が否定した。 「これは人種差別的なセレブレーションではなく、友人のための個人的なお祝いだった」 「人種差別的な意図はなかったけど、僕は謝罪したい」 ▽“つり目”のパフォーマンスは最近問題になることが多く、中国スーパーリーグの河北華夏に所属するアルゼンチン代表FWエセキエル・ラベッシがクラブの写真で同様のポーズをして謝罪。また、バレーボールのセルビア女子代表チームも日本での大会出場権を獲得したことに対して同様のポーズを取り、批判を受けて謝罪する事態が起きていた。 2017.06.06 12:34 Tue

38歳の元ウルグアイ代表DFが自殺…6月には新型コロナ感染
ウルグアイ代表歴もあるDFウィリアムス・マルティネスが38歳で他界した。自殺したものとみられている。 マルティネスは、母国のデフェンソールでキャリアをスタート。その後、WBAやヴァランシエンヌ、スタッド・ランスでもプレー。キャリアの大半はウルグアイ、アルゼンチン、チリ、パラグアイ、ベネズエラと南米で過ごした。 今年4月からは母国ウルグアイ2部のビジャ・テレサに所属。リーグ戦3試合に出場していた中、6月23日に新型コロナウイルス(COVID-19)に感染。その後は試合に出場していなかった。 所属のビジャ・テレサは公式ツイッターを通じて「ウィリアムス・マルティネスの死をとても残念に思います。彼の家族、ご友人、ご親族の皆様に、深くお悔やみ申し上げます」と哀悼の意を示した。 またウルグアイサッカー連盟(AFU)も哀悼の意を示すとともに、18日に予定されてたリーグ戦に関して、ウルグアイプロサッカー選手協会(MUFP)の要求に基づき、中止していた。 なお、ウルグアイは自殺率が世界的にみても高い国であり、2020年は718件があり、10万人あたりの自殺者数が20.3人という高い数字を残していた。その80%以上が男性でありながら、自殺未遂に関しては女性が圧倒的に多いとのこと。マルティネスが自殺した日は、奇しくもウルグアイが自殺予防のために定めた記念日だった。 2021.07.19 11:27 Mon
