マテウスが5度目の離婚…結婚時は「最後の妻になることを願う」と語るも叶わず

「全くもってプロではなかった」浅野拓磨を見下した?リュディガーのステップをドイツ代表のレジェンドも問題視「相手を軽んじてはいけない」

いつの時代であっても、“最高のサッカー選手”というのはファンの間で話題になる。 一番ゴールを決めた選手なのか、最もテクニックがある選手なのか、それともタイトルを一番獲っている選手なのか。見る人1人1人の好みもあり、“最高”という言葉で括るには基準がたくさんありすぎる状況だ。 そんな中、1956年にフランスのサッカー専門誌『フランス・フットボール』によって創設されたのが、世界の年間最優秀選手に送られる“バロンドール”だ。 11月29日には2021年の受賞者が発表され、パリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)のアルゼンチン代表FWリオネル・メッシが受賞した。史上最多の7度目、2位のポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウド(マンチェスター・ユナイテッド)の5回に2つ差をつけることとなった。 この選出には、多くの意見が噴出。2位に終わったバイエルンのポーランド代表FWロベルト・レヴァンドフスキがふさわしいという声が多く、事前の予想でもレヴァンドフスキが受賞するという声も多かったが、メッシへと手渡され、レヴァンドフスキは新設された「ストライカー・オブ・ザ・イヤー」を受賞することとなった。 <span class="paragraph-title">◆攻撃的な選手が有利な傾向</span> 創設当初から、“バロンドール”の受賞対象は欧州の国籍を持つ選手のみだった。投票も欧州の52カ国の記者によって行われていた。 その後1995年には、欧州クラブに在籍している選手が対象となり、国籍は問われないことに。さらに2007年からは、全世界でプレーするサッカー選手に拡大されることとなり、投票権を持つ記者も欧州以外に広がることとなった。 そのバロンドールだが、最多受賞のメッシ、2番目に受賞しているC・ロナウドのように攻撃の選手が受賞する傾向が強い。1956年から、新型コロナウイルス(COVID-19)の影響で選考されなかった2020年を除いて今年で65回目となった“バロンドール”だが、GKとDFの選手が受賞したのは、たったの4回しかない。明確な数字で成績を残せないため、評価がされにくいということが多い。 その中で、初めてDFとして受賞し、守備的な選手として唯一2度の“バロンドール”を受賞しているのが、元西ドイツ代表のフランツ・ベッケンバウアーだ。 <span class="paragraph-title">◆“皇帝”と呼ばれたレジェンド</span> ベッケンバウアーはミュンヘン出身で、バイエルンの下部組織で育ち、1964年から1977年までバイエルンでプレーした。 背筋をピンと伸ばして視野を広く取り、常に冷静な判断力を武器にピッチ上で試合をコントロール。ディフェンスラインをしっかりと統率するキャプテンとして活躍したベッケンバウアーだが、元はストライカーやウインガーとしてプレーしていた。 若くしてその素質を見出された一方で、フィジカル面の弱さが指摘されることも多く、鍛えることをズラトコ・チャイコフスキー監督に指示された。実力のある若手である一方で、将来を心配しての指導だったが、この指導が大きくキャリアを変えることに。プロデビューはウインガーだったが、徐々にポジションを後ろに下げていくこととなった。 最終的にベッケンバウアーは“リベロ”というポジションを確立。攻撃に積極的に参加するという、自身の本質を生かしながら、守備を統率し、優れたストライカーたちを抑えるという役割を務めていた。ユーティリティ性を兼ね備えていたことに加え、強いキャプテンシーも発揮していたこともあり、ベッケンバウアーありきのバイエルンは「FCベッケンバウアー」とも呼ばれるほどだった。 そのバイエルンでは名誉会長を務めているベッケンバウアーだが、初めてバロンドールを受賞したのは1972年だった。 この頃バイエルンは、ブンデスリーガで3連覇をする一方で、チャンピオンズカップ(現:チャンピオンズリーグ)も3連覇。西ドイツ代表としても1972年のユーロと1974年のワールドカップを制しており、ベッケンバウアーはどちらも中心選手として活躍。1974年、1975年は2位に、そして1976年に2度目の受賞となった。 <span class="paragraph-title">◆ベッケンバウアーですら悩んだ受賞</span> サッカー界を代表するレジェンドでもあり、一時代を築くだけでなく、“リベロ”というシステムの概念を変えてしまったほどのベッケンバウアーだが、それでも“バロンドール”には悩んでいた。 それは1974年。ベッケンバウアーが2位に終わった年だが、この年の受賞者はアヤックスで活躍し、ベッケンバウアーと同世代のFWヨハン・クライフだった。 クライフは説明するまでもないが、言わずと知れたサッカー界の指折りのレジェンドの1人。その卓越したテクニックやプレースタイルから「空飛ぶオランダ人(フライング・ダッチマン)」も呼ばれていた。 一方、ベッケンバウアーは1974年に西ドイツ代表のキャプテンとしてワールドカップを優勝。バイエルンのキャプテンとしてチャンピオンズカップを優勝していた。しかし、受賞したのはクライフ。2人の得票数の差は「11」となっていたため、僅差であることに違いないが、クライフが選ばれることとなった。 「私はこれ以上何をすればいいんだ」と当時嘆いていたベッケンバウアー。世界最高の選手とは一体なんなのか。ベッケンバウアーですらその悩みを抱えていただけに、その答えは見つかりそうもない。 <div id="cws_ad"><hr>西ドイツ代表でも活躍し、バイエルンのレジェンドとしてもしられ、DFとして2度のバロンドールを受賞しているベッケンバウアーが大人気スポーツ育成シミュレーションゲーム『プロサッカークラブをつくろう!ロード・トゥ・ワールド』(サカつくRTW)に登場!<br/><br/>現役時代に魅せた卓越したプレーが『サカつくRTW』でも再現。是非一度チェックしてみよう。<a href="https://ryan.onelink.me/C7cD?pid=worldsoccer2110&c=worldsoccer2110&is_retargeting=true&af_inactivity_window=3d&af_dp=ryan.app%3A%2F%2F&af_web_dp=http%3A%2F%2Fsakatsuku-rtw.sega.com%2F" target="_blank"><div style="text-align:center;"><img src="https://image.ultra-soccer.jp/900/img/2021/sega20211215.jpg" style="max-width:100%;"></div></a></div> <span class="paragraph-title">【動画】これがセンターバック!? ベッケンバウアーの圧巻ゴール集</span> <span data-other-div="movie"></span> <div class="dugout-video dugout-embed-eyJrZXkiOiJQRkFmM2dQUyIsInAiOiJ1bHRyYXNvY2NlciIsInBsIjoiIn0="></div><script type="text/javascript" src="https://embed.dugout.com/v3.1/ultrasoccer.js"></script> <a href="https://ryan.onelink.me/C7cD?pid=worldsoccer2110&c=worldsoccer2110&is_retargeting=true&af_inactivity_window=3d&af_dp=ryan.app%3A%2F%2F&af_web_dp=http%3A%2F%2Fsakatsuku-rtw.sega.com%2F" target="_blank"><div style="text-align:center;"><img src="https://image.ultra-soccer.jp/900/img/2021/sega20211215.jpg" style="max-width:100%;"></div></a> 2021.12.15 21:30 Wed

日本はスペイン&ドイツと同居、初戦はドイツ戦《カタールW杯》
