この最終節を前にしてポルトガルに首位の座を奪われたスペインだが、直接対決を88分にFWアルバロ・モラタが決めた決勝ゴールで勝利。逆転での4強入りを果たした。
『UEFA.com』によると、殊勲のモラタは試合後、『TVE』で「難しい試合だった。ポルトガルが擁する選手の実力を見てもね。最後まで戦い抜いたよ」と振り返った。

ブラヒムのA代表変更・モロッコ代表入りほぼ確実、スペイン代表率いる恩師が3年ぶり招集検討も
レアル・マドリーの元スペイン代表MFブラヒム・ディアス(24)が、モロッコ代表入りに向けた書類提出を済ませたようだ。イタリア『カルチョメルカート』が伝えている。 昨シーズンまでミランの背番号「10」を背負ったブラヒム。現在は保有元マドリーに戻り、ミランで一時代を築いたイタリア人指揮官カルロ・アンチェロッティの下、逞しく出場機会を確保している。 そんなブラヒムだが、2021年(当時21歳)にスペイン代表として国際親善試合で1キャップを記録している一方、昨年より父親の母国であるモロッコの政府高官クラスからA代表入り勧誘が続いてきたことが明らかに。スペイン『アス』によると、すでにブラヒムはモロッコ代表入りを最終決断しているという。 1月開催のアフリカ・ネーションズカップは間に合わなかったものの、FIFA等へ提出する書類はコンプリート済み。すぐさまモロッコ代表としてプレーできるわけではなさそうだが、諸手続きを経て、いずれは承認されるとのことだ。 スペイン代表のルイス・デ・ラ・フエンテ監督は、世代別代表時代の教え子ブラヒムを今月の代表ウィークで招集することも検討していた模様。しかし、ブラヒムはこれからモロッコ人として生きていく。 2024.03.02 21:02 Sat
