その選手は、U-20イングランド代表FWサミュエル・イリング・ジュニア(19)。チェルシーアカデミーで育ち、そのままユベントスのアカデミーへ移籍。2022年12月にファーストチームに正式昇格したウインガーだ。
チェルシーのアカデミーで9年間育ち、2020年9月にユベントスへと移籍したが、当時はパリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)、バイエルン、ドルトムントなども関心を寄せていた逸材だ。
すでに今シーズンはセリエAで7試合1アシスト、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)で1試合1アシスト、ヨーロッパリーグで2試合に出場するなど、出番を増やしている状況。U-20イングランド代表でも結果を残すなどして注目を集めている。

頭部同士が激しく激突、動けず12分間も治療…担架で運ばれたイングランド女子代表DFにはスタンドから拍手

アグエロがシティの歴史に名を刻んだ瞬間、プレミア初優勝を決めた93:20の熱狂
