東京オリンピックの女子サッカーのグループステージが21日に開幕を迎えた。グループFとグループGでは初戦から白熱の戦いが繰り広げられた。
◆グループF/ブラジルが中国を5発粉砕! 優勝候補オランダが10発圧勝
日本とオーストラリアと共にアジア勢として今大会に臨む中国女子代表と、南米から唯一の参戦となるブラジル女子代表の一戦は思わぬワンサイドゲームとなった。
宮城スタジアムで行われた一戦は開始早々に動く。9分、ゴール前の混戦から大エースのマルタが左足のシュートを突き刺す。さらに、畳みかける南米王者は22分にベアトリスの鋭いミドルシュートをGKが前に弾くと、こぼれ球に詰めたデビーニャが難なく押し込んだ。

目下、44戦無敗と絶好調のアメリカ優位と思われた東京スタジアムでの一戦は予想外の展開に。立ち上がりから主導権を握るスウェーデンは25分、右サイド深くでヤコブセンが上げたクロスをゴール前に飛び込んだブラクステニウスがダイビングヘッドで合わせ、先にゴールをこじ開ける。
一方、前半の内に追いつきたいアメリカはエースのモーガンを起点に幾度かチャンスを作り出すと、前半終了間際のセットプレーから絶好機も、ラベルのヘディングシュートは左ポストを叩いた。

女子サッカーの伝説ワンバック、マリファナとコカインの使用を認める
