リバプールが守田英正の相棒にオファー? ウルグアイ代表MFウガルテに関心

リバプールがスポルティングCPのウルグアイ代表MFマヌエル・ウガルテ(22)にオファーを出したようだ。ポルトガル『レコルド』が伝えた。

ウガルテは、3月には日本代表との試合にも出場し、スポルティングでは日本代表MF守田英正ともプレー。今シーズンはプリメイラリーガで29試合、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)で6試合、ヨーロッパリーグ(EL)で4試合と主力として活躍している。

守田と中盤でコンビを組んでいるが、今夏の注目選手の1人。スポルティングとの契約は2026年夏まで残っているが、アーセナルやトッテナム、ニューカッスルなどが関心を寄せている。

そんな中、熱心なのがリバプール。ドルトムントのイングランド代表MFジュード・ベリンガム(19)をファーストターゲットとしていた中、高額な移籍金を前に撤退を決定。ただ、ポジションとして補強の必要があり、ウガルテに興味を持っているという。

すでにリバプールのスカウトは現地を訪れてプレーをチェック。今週中に代理人のジョルジュ・メンデス氏がリスボンで会談を行うされ、移籍の話を進めることになるようだ。

スポルティングは、昨夏移籍金を8000万ユーロ(約117億8000万円)に設定しようとしたが、ウガルテは移籍金の釣り上げに昨夏合意せず。ただ、契約解除条項の6000万ユーロ(約88億3500万円)に近い金額を求めることになるという。

ウガルテ本人はステップアップを望んでいることから、良い話であればオファーを受けると見られている。ルベン・アモリム監督は退団を全く望んでいないが、クラブも移籍金次第では手放すつもりがあるようだ。

リバプールの来季アウェイユニフォームが発表!ヒルズボロの悲劇を偲ぶデザインに
