クリスティアーノ・ロナウドの加入によってアル・ナスルを退団することになったカメルーン代表FWヴァンサン・アブバカル(30)が古巣のベシクタシュに加入した。
アブバカルは2021年夏にアル・ナスルに加入し、昨季はリーグ戦23試合で8ゴール3アシストを記録した。今季は11試合で4ゴールを挙げながら、カタール・ワールドカップではキャプテンとして2ゴールの活躍を披露した。
中東で順調なキャリアを歩んでいたが、C・ロナウドの加入で暗転。サウジ・プロフェッショナルリーグでは外国人枠が8つに制限されており、当初はポルトガル代表FWをチームに登録することはできなかった。
そこで“犠牲”となったのがアブバカルだった。21日にクラブから契約解消が伝えられ、間髪入れず、古巣のベシクタシュへの復帰が決まった。同クラブには2016年夏から2021年夏まで在籍しており、ポルトにレンタル移籍した1シーズンを除けば4年間プレー。通算成績は67試合35ゴール9アシストとなっている。

「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす

C・ロナウドと事実婚状態のジョルジーナさん、結婚について言及「いつか式が挙げられるはず」

ベシクタシュが5選手を追放、今夏加入のバイリーらは「パフォーマンスの低下」と「チーム内での不適合」が理由

ブラク・ユルマズが37歳で現役引退…トルコ3強やリールで活躍の名ストライカー

36歳ダビド・ルイスが欧州復帰へ! ベシクタシュの会長が明言「完全合意に達した」
