アブバカルは2021年夏にアル・ナスルに加入し、昨季はリーグ戦23試合で8ゴール3アシストを記録した。今季は11試合で4ゴールを挙げながら、カタール・ワールドカップではキャプテンとして2ゴールの活躍を披露した。
中東で順調なキャリアを歩んでいたが、C・ロナウドの加入で暗転。サウジ・プロフェッショナルリーグでは外国人枠が8つに制限されており、当初はポルトガル代表FWをチームに登録することはできなかった。
そこで“犠牲”となったのがアブバカルだった。21日にクラブから契約解消が伝えられ、間髪入れず、古巣のベシクタシュへの復帰が決まった。同クラブには2016年夏から2021年夏まで在籍しており、ポルトにレンタル移籍した1シーズンを除けば4年間プレー。通算成績は67試合35ゴール9アシストとなっている。

マンチェスターの2クラブでプレーしたテベスが元チームメイトからベストイレブンを発表!7人がユナイテッドでプレー

1年半無所属も…40歳リカルド・クアレスマが“最後の望み”「僕のキャリアはまだ終わってない」

元オランダ代表FWバベルが37歳で現役引退…アヤックスやリバプール、ベシクタシュで活躍
元オランダ代表FWライアン・バベル(37)が現役引退を発表した。 2023年9月にトルコ2部のエユプスポルを退団し、フリートランスファーとなっていたバベルは9日、ツイッタにこれまで在籍したクラブのユニフォームを纏った自身の姿をまとめた動画と共に「引退。ありがとうフットボール」と非常に短い言葉で現役引退を明かした。 アヤックスの下部組織で育ったバベルは同クラブでファーストチームに昇格すると、初年度から公式戦27試合9ゴールでインパクトを残すと、在籍3年半で公式戦107試合に出場し23ゴールを記録。 この活躍が認められ、2007年夏にリバプールへ完全移籍。左ウイングを主戦場に加入初年度から公式戦49試合10ゴール8アシストをマーク。一気にブレイクするかと思われたが、その後は目立った活躍ができず、2011年の冬にホッフェンハイムへ完全移籍。 1年半の在籍となったホッフェンハイムでは、わずか6ゴールにとどまり期待を裏切ると、2012年夏にフリーで古巣アヤックスへ復帰。その1年後には再度フリーでトルコのカスムパシャへ移籍すると公式戦59試合で14ゴール12アシストと復調の兆しを見せたが、アル・アインやデポルティボへ移籍したことで、再び輝きを失うことに。 その後、2017年1月ベシクタシュに加入すると2年間の在籍で公式戦89試合に出場し29ゴールを挙げるなど完全復活。2019年冬にフルアムに半年契約で加入すると、その年の夏にはガラタサライへ3年契約で移籍。 2020年冬には古巣アヤックスへレンタル移籍したが、ガラタサライでは在籍2年半で公式戦100試合に出場し17ゴール8アシストを記録。2022年夏からはトルコ2部のエユプスポルへ活躍の場を移したが、わずか1年で退団していた。 各カテゴリーのオランダ代表に選ばれてきたエリートは、2005年3月に18歳でフル代表デビュー。2007年に自国で開催されたU-21欧州選手権では印象的なパフォーマンスを披露し、オランダを優勝に導いた。 69キャップを誇るフル代表では、2度のワールドカップ(2006,2010)に出場。2011年11月以降は代表から遠ざかっていたが、2017年10月に約6年ぶりの復帰を果たすと、それから3年間はフル代表の常連として活躍。2018-19UEFAネーションズリーグの準優勝に貢献した。 2024.11.10 09:00 Sun
