日本代表として9月の欧州遠征で復帰した田中。カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)では、“三笘の1ミリ"としても世界中で話題となったスペイン代表戦でゴールを決めるなど、日本のベスト16入りの立役者の1人となった。
その田中は今夏のステップアップを目指し、多くのクラブが関心を寄せることに。移籍市場の最終盤ではリバプールへと電撃移籍した日本代表MF遠藤航の代役としてシュツットガルトも狙っているとされていた。
その他にもフランクフルトなどドイツ国内クラブや、フルアム、リーズ・ユナイテッドなどドイツ以外からも関心が寄せられた中、移籍は叶わずに残留することとなった。
ドイツ『ビルト』はその田中に対し、「日本では英雄、デュッセルドルフではただの問題児!」と題して報道。移籍ができなかった理由は、デュッセルドルフが設定した移籍金。「フォルトゥナの罠にハマったタナカ」として、2025年まで契約が残る田中に対して300万ユーロ(約4億8000万円)以上を求めた結果、支払うクラブが出て来なかったと報じている。
そんな中『ビルト』はスポーツ・ディレクター(SD)のクラウス・アロフス氏のコメントを伝え、移籍をさせたくないわけではないとした。
「我々は必ずしもアオを追い出したいわけではない。変わりたいというのが彼の願いだった」
「また、一流のサッカーをプレーし、代表チームでの地位を確保することも目的だ。ただ、それはどうしたって実現はできなかった」

「なぜこれがアウェイユニじゃない?」旧市街をイメージしたデュッセルドルフの特別ユニフォームにファンが大興奮「毎試合着よう」

デュッセルドルフ、好調モラレスが筋損傷で数週間の離脱に…
デュッセルドルフは10日、DFアルフレッド・モラレスがケガでアメリカ代表から離脱したことを発表した。 モラレスは、6日に行われた国際親善試合のメキシコ代表戦に先発出場したが、試合終了間際の92分に内転筋を負傷。 これを受けて代表離脱となった同選手は、9日に行われた精密検査の結果、内転筋付近に筋損傷があることが判明したようだ。現時点でハッキリとした離脱期間は不明だが、ドイツ『キッカー』は、3～4週間程度の離脱が見込まれると報じている。 対人戦でみせるアグレッシブさが売りのモラレスは、今季ここまでブンデスリーガ3試合に出場し、1ゴール1アシストを記録するなど好パフォーマンスを披露していた。 2019.09.11 02:25 Wed

「爽やか〜」「かっこよすぎ」田中碧のニューヘアーが大絶賛、大先輩も「髪型グーやん」
