ニョントはインテルの下部組織出身。スイスのチューリッヒに在籍していた昨年6月のA代表デビュー戦での活躍から一躍その名が知れ渡り、昨夏の移籍市場最終日に駆け込みでリーズ移籍を掴みとった。
リーズは昨季同様に今季もプレミアリーグで残留争いを強いられているが、ニョントは第14節のリバプール戦で初出場を果たし、その後は左サイドハーフで定位置を確保。現在までに公式戦20試合4ゴール3アシストを記録している。
イタリア代表の今後を担う選手としてさらなる成長に期待が集まるなか、セリエAの強豪クラブもニョントに注目している模様。ナポリ、ミラン、ローマ、アタランタ、ユベントスが今夏の獲得を検討しており、ニョント本人もイタリアへの帰還にオープンとのことだ。

欧州のドリブルキングはメッシ! C・ロナウドとは成功数に1000以上の差
