今季マンチェスター・シティからボルシアMGへと完全移籍した板倉。すぐにチームの守備の中心となっていった。

ダニエル・ファルケ監督からも信頼されていた板倉は、高いパフォーマンスを見せていた中、出場停止で欠場した試合の翌日のトレーニングでまさかの負傷。検査の結果、右ヒザ内側じん帯の部分断裂と診断され、松葉杖を付く姿を投稿していた。

クラブはワールドカップ(W杯)の開幕までプレーはさせない方針を明確にしており、その後の復帰は回復の状況次第としていた。

カタールW杯ではセンターバックのレギュラーとしての活躍も期待されていた板倉。今シーズンもブンデスリーガで好調ぶりを見せていただけに、ファンも大きなショックを受けていた。

そんな中、ボルシアMGがインスタグラムを更新。板倉が早くもトレーニングを行っている様子をアップした。

トレーニングと言っても、ジムでの筋トレなど、右ヒザに負荷がかからないものとなっているが、できる部分から準備をしていこうというところだろう。

もちろんまだまだ復帰には時間を要するが、ファンも「無理しないでくれ」、「戻ってきてくれて嬉しい」、「君が必要だ」、「リハビリがうまくいくように」、「頑張って」と励ましのエールを送った。

カタールW杯開幕までは1カ月半。メンバー発表まではもう1カ月を切っているが、焦らずにしっかりと治してもらいたいところだ。

ボルシアMGのドイツ代表MFクリストフ・クラマーがインスタグラムで公開した秘密のコレクションが話題となっている。クラマーはレバークーゼンやボーフムなど母国クラブで活躍してきた30歳のMF。2013年夏からはボルシアMGでプレーしており、今季も主力としてリーグ戦14試合に出場している。また、2014年にブラジルで行われたワールドカップでは、それまで2試合しか出場がなかったドイツ代表に大抜擢され、アルゼンチン代表との決勝戦で先発出場。ケガで30分過ぎに交代してしまったものの、世界制覇を成し遂げた同年のマンシャフトの一員として名を連ねた。そんなクラマーが先日、自身の公式インスタグラムにてあるコレクションを公開。それは1996年に日本で発売が開始されたポケモンカードだ。クラマーが集めていたのは、いわゆる“旧裏”と言われる、今年で25周年を迎えたポケモンカードの歴史においても初期に発売されていたもので、現在は絶版となっているもの。その括りの中でドイツ代表MFは初代ポケモンの151匹をコンプリート。中には現在では高値となっている初版モデルもあり、カードによっては70万円もの値がつくという。イギリス『SPORTbible』のインタビューで「90年代に生まれたすべての子供はポケモンの大ファンだったと思う」と語ったクラマーは、ポケモンカード集めに対する思い入れを話すとともに、収集に苦労したことを告白。また、チームメイトたちからはポジティブな反応があったようだ。「小学校でカードを集めるのは本当に楽しかったし、全種類を集めるのはいつだって子供たちの夢だった」「何枚か購入したものもあると言わざるを得ないが、高値で買ったことはない。どれほどの価値があるかわからないけど、決して売ったりはしないよ」「チームメイトの多くが子供の頃は同じことをしていたと思う。彼らはカードを手放し、もう集めなくなってしまったけど、みんな僕のことをリスペクトし祝福してくれているよ」現在でも巷では絶大な人気を誇る旧裏ポケモンカード。クラマーが集めたのはもちろんドイツ語版のものだが、日本のコレクターにも欲しがるファンはたくさんいるのではないだろうか。<div id = "cws_ad"><blockquote class="instagram-media" data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-permalink="https://www.instagram.com/p/CJoYmKtM2kM/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading" data-instgrm-version="13" style=" background:#FFF; ボルシアMGが新ユニフォームを発表! 中央に黒と緑のストライプ!
