スイス代表MFグラニト・ジャカは、29日に行われるカタールW杯グループG第2戦のブラジル代表戦へ向けて大会前から闘志を燃やしていたようだ。

スイス代表のキャプテンとしてカタールW杯に参戦中のジャカ。24日に行われた初戦のカメルーン代表戦ではフル出場し、1-0の勝利に貢献している。

この結果、第2戦のブラジル代表戦で勝利すれば決勝トーナメント進出が決まる可能性も。大会前のイギリス『サン』のインタビューでは、所属するアーセナルの同僚であるブラジル代表2選手、ガブリエウ・ジェズスとガブリエウ・マルティネッリの名前を挙げ、この一戦への闘志を燃やしていた。
「(2人とは)普段は冗談を言い合う仲さ。W杯の対戦相手にチームメイトがいるのは本当に素晴らしいこと。だけど、お互いにプロフェッショナルなわけだから、真剣に90分間向き合わないといけないね」

「2人には『もしスイスのGKからゴールを奪おうものなら、僕が君たちを粉砕する』と宣言したよ(笑) お互いに自分の国のために戦い、勝ちたいと強く願っている」
冗談まじりのやりとりを明かした一方、初戦のカメルーン以上に警戒すべき相手だとの認識も失っていないようだ。

「カメルーンよりブラジルの方を注意すべきなのは明白だ。ブラジル相手にボールロストすることは失点に直結し、大きな代償を払うこととなる。彼らはとてつもないクオリティを持つ集団だからね」

アーセナルとチェルシーのダービーとなった2019-20シーズンのFAカップ決勝で、最も話題を集めることになったのは、主審を務めたアンソニー・テイラーだった。イギリス『デイリー・メール』が伝えている。 1日に聖地ウェンブリー・スタジアムで行われた2019-20シーズンのイングリッシュフットボールを締めくくる一戦は、アーセナルが2-1の逆転勝利を収め、自らの最多優勝記録を更新する14度目の優勝を果たした。 同試合では見事な個人技で奪った決勝点を含む2ゴールを挙げたFWピエール=エメリク・オーバメヤンの活躍が称賛された一方、最も話題をさらったのは、アーセナルにとっての“マン・オブ・ザ・マッチ”とも揶揄されるテイラー主審だった。 プレミアリーグではお馴染みのレフェリーであるテイラー主審は、同試合で幾つかの物議を醸す判定を下していた。 アーセナルの同点ゴールに繋がった前半半ばのPKの場面ではオーバメヤンを後方から引き倒したDFセサル・アスピリクエタが最初に手をかけた位置がペナルティエリア外だったこともあり、その正当性に議論の余地はあったものの、この判定に関しては概ね妥当な判定と思われた。 しかし、試合の行方を決定付けることになった後半の2つの判定に関しては、多くの非難を浴びる結果となった。 73分にチェルシーのMFマテオ・コバチッチが2枚目のイエローカードをもらって退場となった場面では、五分五分のボールを競りに行ったコバチッチがスイス代表MFグラニト・ジャカと交錯した際のアフターチャージを取ったようだが、クロアチア代表MFは先にボールに触っていた上、接触の際にも足はジャカのスパイクの下にあり、足裏を見せた危険なチャレンジと判断するにも無理があるものだった。 さらに、コバチッチにイエローカードを出した後にレッドカードを出すまでに若干の間があり、テイラー主審が1枚目のイエローカードだと思い込み、勢いでカードを出した可能性も指摘されている。 さらに、チェルシーが1点のビハインド、数的不利を背負った後のアーセナルGKエミリアーノ・マルティネスのペナルティエリア外でのハンドに関する判定に関しても批判の的に。FWタミー・エイブラハムの裏への飛び出しの対応にあたったマルティネスは、焦ってペナルティエリア外でボールをキャッチしたように見える場面があり、チェルシーサイドはハンドを要求。仮に、このハンドが認められていれば、決定機阻止のマルティネスにレッドカードが掲示された可能性もあった。 イギリスメディアやSNS上のリプレー、画像検証ではボールがエリア外にある状態でマルティネスがボールをキャッチしているようにも見え、難しい判定だったとはいえ、チェルシーサイドにとってはコバチッチ退場に続く腹立たしい判定となった。 そのため、試合後のイギリスの『ツイッター』のトレンドにはテイラー主審の名前がランキング上位に上がり、「FAカップを掲げるのはオーバメヤンorアンソニー・テイラー?」、「アーセナルのマン・オブ・ザ・マッチはアンソニー・テイラーに譲るべき」、「アンソニー・テイラーは自身にとって最高のパフォーマンスを見せたのかもしれない。ならば、レフェリー試験を改めて受け直すべきだ」など、多くの批判的なコメントが寄せられた。 また、チェルシーアカデミー出身のウェストハムMFデクラン・ライスは、「今日の試合の幾つかの判定は…」と、審判批判による処分を回避するため、かなりオブラートに包んだものの判定への不満を露わに。 また、チェルシーのレジェンドでアストン・ビラのアシスタントコーチを務めるジョン・テリー氏も、「(コバチッチの)2枚目のイエローカードはありえないし、(決勝点となる)ゴールの場面でもクリステンセンへのファウルがあった」と、同主審の判定を批判している。 なお、イギリス『Squawka』が伝えるところによれば、テイラー主審は今回を含めアーセナルとチェルシーのダービーとなったカップ戦決勝3試合を裁いているという。そして、2015-16シーズンのコミュニティ・シールド、2016-17シーズンのFAカップ、今回の試合とそのすべてでアーセナルが勝利。さらに、当時チェルシーに在籍していたMFビクター・モーゼスを退場させていた。 2020.08.02 14:20 Sun

「彼は左サイドバックでもプレーが可能だと思った」と、試合後に口にしたのはアーセナルのミケル・アルテタ監督。日本代表DF冨安健洋を大一番のリバプール戦で左サイドバック起用した後に語ったコメントだ。 今シーズン開幕から好調を維持するアーセナルは、9日にプレミアリーグ第10節でリバプールと対戦した。 首位を守るためには勝たなければいけない相手。今シーズンは苦しいシーズンスタートとなったリバプールだったが、アーセナルにとっては2年間リーグ戦では勝っていない相手。好調なスタートを切ったシーズンだけに、しっかりと勝ってもらいたいと多くのファンが願った。 試合前に発表されたスターティングイレブンには冨安の名前が。ファンもプレーを希望していた中で、大一番での抜擢となったが、メンバーを見ると不思議な感覚に陥っていた。 アーセナルのスターティングメンバーには、イングランド代表DFベン・ホワイトの名前。右サイドバックで起用されると考えれば、ホワイトはいないはずだが、メンバーにいる。では昨シーズン同様にホワイトがセンターバックかと思いきや、フランス代表DFウィリアム・サリバ、ブラジル代表DFガブリエウ・マガリャンイスの名前も。アーセナルファンは、その時点で冨安が左サイドバックに入ることを察知した。 今夏加入したウクライナ代表MFオレクサンドル・ジンチェンコが居ないことも気になるところだが、ベンチメンバーを見ればスコットランド代表DFキーラン・ティアニーもいる。本職の左サイドバックがいながら、冨安を起用するという采配には、試合前から多くの批判的なコメントが見てとれた。 しかし、試合が始まればその言葉も無くなることに。冨安は対峙したエジプト代表FWモハメド・サラーを封じる役割を見せただけでなく、ビルドアップでも巧みなポジションどりと、両足を使えるキックで貢献。同サイドのFWガブリエウ・マルティネッリは冨安が後ろに構えることで攻撃に比重が置けることとなり、開始早々にゴールを決めただけでなく、ブカヨ・サカの勝ち越しゴールもアシストしていた。 試合は3-2で勝利。判定を巡って様々な意見はあったが、冨安が封じたサラーは途中交代せざるを得ない状況に。ユルゲン・クロップ監督も、サラーがこの試合で仕事ができていなかったことを試合後に認めていた。それだけ冨安が貢献したということだろう。 この大胆な采配は何も思いつきでやったわけではなく、予てから冨安を左サイドで起用できる可能性を探っていた。 アルテタ監督は今年5月、「彼は右サイドバックから両足が使えるだけでなく、右センターバック、左センターバック、左サイドバックでプレーできるため、多くの解決策を提供してくれる」と冨安について言及。その才能を既に見出していた。そして、昨夏から始まったチーム作りの上で、選手の多様性というものがアーセナルを進化させて行っていることがわかる。 <span class="paragraph-title">◆左サイドバック冨安の功績</span> 前述の通り、今シーズンのアーセナルはジンチェンコ、ティアニーと左サイドバックの本職がいる。アルテタ監督が待望したジンチェンコは、中盤にポジションをとってプレーすることが可能。従来のサイドバック以上の働きを今のスタイルで見せており、ティアニーは馬力とキャプテンシー、そして左サイドのスペシャリストとして高いポテンシャルを持っている。 一方で、冨安は日本代表で左センターバックでプレー。今回の左サイドバック起用はヨーロッパリーグ(EL)のボデ/グリムト戦でも後半途中から務めており、試運転が行われていた。 ボローニャ時代にも冨安は左サイドバックで何度かプレーした経験があり、左右の両足で遜色なくプレーできる点が生きることに。最終ラインだけでなく、チーム全体のシステムにおいて、様々な形をもたらせることができる重要なピースとなることがわかる。 冨安自身はボデ/グリムト戦のパフォーマンスを「満足していない」と語っていたが、アルテタ監督はサラーを封じるために起用したと言って良いだろう。 冨安は世界最高峰と言われるプレミアリーグでまだ2年目の選手。シーズン序盤と考えれば、1年しかプレーしていない状況だ。 昨シーズンの始まりも良く知らない日本人選手という目で見られていたが、デビュー戦でのパフォーマンスで一気にファンの心を掴むと、その後も落ち着いたプレーと、冷静な判断、そして何よりも一対一で抜かれないという強みを生かして信頼を勝ち取った。 特に、サイドバックがやりがちなすぐにプレスをかけてボールに飛び込む形はほとんど取らず、間合いを詰めて、ボールと相手の間に体を入れてボールを奪う守備を見せた他、188cmの身長を生かして空中戦でも圧倒的な勝率を誇り、数々のウインガーにとっては厄介な相手となっていた。 それは左サイドバックで起用されたリバプール戦でも同じ。サラーを封じるためについていくが、インサイドはスイス代表MFグラニト・ジャカがしっかりと下りてきて埋めている状況。前半にはボックス付近でのサラーの突破をファウルもせずに難なくボールを奪い、そのまま攻撃につなげているシーンもあった。結果としてチームは2失点をしているが、冨安のサイドからはやられていない。 また、アルテタ監督も口にしていた冨安の特徴の1つである左右の足が使えることも大きく、右サイドバックとして見せていたものを、左サイドでも十分に発揮していた。右ではイングランド代表FWブカヨ・サカ、ノルウェー代表MFマルティン・ウーデゴールと左利きの選手が前におり、そこにしっかりとパスを出して攻撃を活性化させていた。 攻撃面に関しては、まだ物足りないという意見が多いが、ティアニーの場合は高い位置を取りたがる傾向があり、マルティネッリの力を生かしきれないという点もある。ジンチェンコは中央に入る役割があり、上がり過ぎない冨安は、調子が良いマルティネッリを生かすのには適しているとも言える。 <span class="paragraph-title">◆チームの総合力を上げるユーティリティ性</span> そして、これは冨安に限ったことではない。右サイドバックでレギュラーをはるホワイトも、昨シーズンは1年間ほとんどセンターバックでプレー。冨安がケガで離脱した際には、試合中に右サイドバックを務めることもあったが、今シーズンは完全に右サイドバックでしかプレーしていない。 また、サリバはセンターバックで起用されているが、左サイドバックでも起用が可能。ただ、冨安が収まるのであれば、センターバックで起用し続けることで問題ないだろう。これまで、バックラインの負傷者に毎年のように悩まされるアーセナルだったが、冨安をはじめ、複数ポジションができる選手が多くいることはチームを大きく手助けし、チーム力を低下させないことにも繋がっている。 アーセナルからは離れるが、日本代表でも9月のアメリカ代表戦では、左のセンターバックとして前半を戦い、後半は右サイドバックでプレーした。左も可能となれば、日本代表が窮地に陥った際にもプランとして考えられ、監督としては選択肢が大きく広がることになる。それだけ遜色なく両サイドバックをこなせ、センターバックでもプレーでき、さらには元々ボランチでプレーしていたことも生きるはずだ。 話をアーセナルに戻し、冨安、ホワイトの両サイドバックを務めることで、最終ライン全員が180cmを超えることになる。ジンチェンコやティアニーは上背はなく、ロングボールを使って押し込む相手であれば、冨安を左サイドバックという考えは、試合途中でも考えられそうだ。この4人はそれぞれが足元の技術も高いだけに、空中でも地上でも相手を困らせることができ、後方からのビルドアップ、攻撃面でのサポートも何も問題はない。まさに、アルテタ監督が目指すサッカーを体現できるのだ。 過密日程に加え、リーグ戦を含めて4つの大会を戦うことになるアーセナル。相手によって、大会によって、選手の配置を変えることが可能であり、ケガなどで誰かを欠いても、しっかりとした代役を用意できる状況。冨安が見せたユーティリティ性と高いポテンシャルは、アルテタ監督のプランをさらに広げることに繋がるに違いなく、よりアーセナルを高みに押し上げる原動力になりそうだ。 《超ワールドサッカー編集部・菅野剛史》 2022.10.11 23:30 Tue

ガブリエウがスポルティング戦で相手エースのゴールセレブレーション拝借…その意図とは?

コーラは有効? 嫌ったC・ロナウドは敗退も、イングランド代表は試合後に摂取とコーチが語る

「クソッタレ!」ストイコビッチ監督が興奮し問題発言、スイスとセルビアに起きた4年前の遺恨が再燃か「とても悪い振る舞い」

ゴールレスドローもスイスが決勝T進出に近づく! 強豪ノルウェーは2戦勝ちなしでグループ最下位【2023女子W杯】

25日、オーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子ワールドカップ(W杯)グループAのスイス女子代表vsノルウェー女子代表がワイカト・スタジアム(ハミルトン)で行われ、0-0の引き分けに終わった。 初戦はW杯初出場のフィリピンと対戦したスイス。前半にネットを揺らされる場面もあったがオフサイドに救われ、前半アディショナルタイムのPKと後半の追加点により勝利をゲット。そのフィリピン戦からはスタメンを1人入れ替え、ノエル・マリッツが左サイドバックで先発出場した。 一方、W杯優勝経験もある強豪ノルウェーは、開催国ニュージーランドにW杯初勝利を献上する厳しい出だし。チャンスを作りながらも決めきれず、0-1で敗れた。今回のスイス戦ではキャロライン・グラハム・ハンセンとジュリー・ブラクスタッドの両ウイングがベンチスタートとなり、アマリー・アイクランドとエミリエ・ハーヴィがスタメン起用された。 激しい雨が降る中、キックオフ直前にノルウェーにアクシデントが発生。エースのアーダ・ヘーゲルベルグがロッカールームへと引き上げ、急遽ソフィー・ロマン・ハウグがピッチに立った。 序盤はスイスがペースを握る。8分にはノルウェー陣内に押し込み、波状攻撃を展開。クンバ・ソウの右サイドからの折り返しをロマーナ・バッハマンがシュートまで持ち込んだが、ブロックされネットを揺らすことはできなかった。 ノルウェーも徐々にペースを掴み始める。14分にはハウグが左からのクロスに合わせるも、シュートはゴール左へ。24分、今度は右からのクロスにハウグが頭で合わせたが、ここはGKガエル・テールマンがセーブ。得点を許さなかった。 ノルウェーはサイド攻撃から中央のハウグを狙う形が続く。そんな中、スイスも反撃。32分、右ハーフスペースでボールを受けたソウがボックス内へスルーパス。アナ=マリア・クルノゴルチェビッチが抜け出してシュートを打ったが、これはバーの上を越えた。 その後はスイスがボールを握る時間を増やしていくが、決定的な場面は作れず前半終了。ゴールレスで試合を折り返した。 両チームともに選手交代なしで迎えた後半、立ち上がりはノルウェーが押し込む。55分にはまたもハウグに決定機。レイテルの左サイドからのクロスをファーのアイクランドが折り返すと、こぼれ球に反応したハウグがダイレクトでシュート。強烈なボールが枠内に飛んだが、GKテールマンがナイスセーブで凌いだ。 攻勢を強めたいノルウェーは、57分にアイクランドに代えてグラハム・ハンセンを投入。グラハム・ハンセンの右サイドからのクロスがスイスの新たな脅威となる。 一方、スイスも64分に後半最初のシュート。敵陣中央でボールを持ったバッハマンが自ら仕掛け、ボックス内に侵入。シュートまで持ち込んだがゴール左へと外れた。 その後もスイスのジェラルディン・ロイトラー、ノルウェーのグラハム・ハンセンが惜しいシュートを放つなど一進一退の攻防が続くが、両チーム共に先制点が遠い。 後半アディショナルタイムには、スイスのクルノゴルチェビッチが左サイドを突破し、途中出場のメリアメ・テルシュンがクロスに合わせたが、得点を奪うことはできず。0-0のまま試合は終了した。 グループステージ成績を1勝1分としたスイスは勝ち点「4」でグループA首位。1分1敗のノルウェーは勝ち点「1」でグループ最下位と苦境に陥っている。 スイス女子代表 0-0 ノルウェー女子代表 2023.07.25 19:15 Tue
