スペイン代表のルイス・エンリケ監督が、自身のTwitch配信で日本代表について言及した。

カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)でグループEに入っているスペイン。12月1日には最終戦で日本と対戦する。

2試合を終えて勝ち点4の首位に立っているが、日本に敗れればグループステージ敗退の可能性もある状況。戦前の予想ではドイツと共に勝ち抜ける確率が高いとされた中、両国とも敗退する可能性がある。
我らが日本も勝たなければ敗退が濃厚となる状況だけに、大きな壁となるスペインに立ち向かうことになるが、大会期間中に定期的に配信者となるとしていたルイス・エンリケ監督が、日本代表について語った。

「我々は日本をよく知っている。彼らにはクオリティが高く、スピードがあり、ダイナミックな選手がいる」

ゴール前で輝く決定力と、中盤を支える戦術眼。その両方を併せ持つ“新しいボランチ像”を、日本代表のMF鎌田大地がボリビア代表戦で体現した。開始4分、MF久保建英のクロスを胸で収め、左足で冷静に流し込んだ先制点。ボランチでありながらペナルティエリアへ侵入し、フィニッシュまで持ち込む――。クリスタルパレスと日本代表では求められる役割は異なる。それでも鎌田は、6番・8番・10番をひとつに束ねた“自分だけのポジション”を研ぎ澄ませている。 ■“6番”の位置から、ペナルティエリアへ ボリビア戦の開始4分。試合は、MF鎌田大地が切り拓いた。 MF久保建英が右サイドで深くえぐる。相手がゴール前へ引き寄せられる一瞬の隙を、鎌田は逃さなかった。ペナルティーエリアにスッと入っていき、浮き球のクロスを胸でコントロールすると、左足で逆サイドネットへ流し込んだ。 「チームとして、あそこが空くっていうのは分析でもやっていた。ボランチですけど、ああいうところに何回か入っていくことが大事だと思っていたので。ボールが来てシュートチャンスができたのは良かったかなと」 クリスタルパレスではリスク管理が徹底され、センターラインより前に踏み込む回数は限られる。しかし日本代表では、森保一監督の戦術が鎌田に自由度を与えている。 「自分がある程度自由に前に行けるような、6番だけじゃなくて8番や10番くらいの役割までできる方が、やっていて躍動感はある。そっちの方が自分には合っていると思いますし」 相手の守備ラインが一歩下がった瞬間、鎌田は3列目の位置からスッと前へ出ていき、いつの間にか最前線に顔を出す。ボランチでありながらフィニッシュまで関与できる稀有な才能が、日本の攻撃に奥行きをもたらす。先制点は、その象徴だった。 ■自由と責任の狭間で描く“シン・ボランチ像” 鎌田のプレーは、単なる攻撃的ボランチではない。試合の状況に応じて6番(ボランチ)にも8番(インサイドハーフ)にも10番(トップ下)にもなる。 「パレスはボランチがリスク管理で、余ってる選手を捕まえたり、後ろ5枚で守る形。こっち(日本代表)はもっと攻撃に関われる。やり方の違いが大きいと思います」 その言葉通り、ボリビア戦では攻撃でも守備でも表情を変えた。後半、相手のカウンターを鎌田がつぶした場面は象徴的だった。厳しいプレスを受け続けた前半の疲労が残る中でも、最後のところで身体を投げ出し、相手の芽を摘んだ。 ガーナ戦をコンディション不良で欠場したものの、ボリビア戦で本来の実力を示した。 「しっかりプレーできるレベルには戻ってきているので、そこは問題なかったと思います」 守備強度とゲームメイク、そして得点力。これらを同時に要求されるのは酷にも思えるが、鎌田はその領域に自ら踏み込んでいる。 この日のミックスゾーンでは、鎌田らしい“脱力感”ある一幕も。 「ゴールの後に森保さんのところに行こうとチームで話していたそうですが?」という質問を受けた時のこと。 それまで淡々と話していた鎌田の表情がゆるむ。 「僕は聞いてなかったんで。集中していたので、全然頭になくて。(森保監督に)申し訳ないというか……(笑)」 周囲に笑いが起きる。プレッシャーの中にあっても自然体でいられること。それもまた、鎌田の強みだろう。 チーム内のポジション争いは激しい。MF佐野海舟をはじめ、鎌田の主戦場にもライバルが台頭し、代表チームは新しいフェーズへと進んでいる。ただ、鎌田には慢心も不安もない。 「日本人選手は頭が良くて、どのポジションでもある程度できる選手が育っている。監督にとっても理想的じゃないですかね」 6番+8番+10番。ボランチの概念を超えた鎌田が、森保ジャパンをさらなる高みへ導いていく。 取材・文=北健一郎 2025.11.19 00:45 Wed

キックオフ直後から、気合という燃料を積んでいることは明らかだった。このチャンスを、モノにしてやるんだ。攻守両面でのアグレッシブなプレーから、この試合に懸ける思いは全身から溢れ出ていた。タフに右サイドを守りながら、同学年のMF久保建英と一緒に決定機も演出した。サイドバックを本職とする選手が生み出すハーモニーが顔を覗かせていたからこそ、後半開始のピッチに背番号2の姿がなかったことに驚き、ガッカリしてしまった。 誰よりも落胆していたのは本人だろう。もっとプレーしたかった。まだまだアピールしたかった。あの時、ああいう選択をしていれば──。後悔に似た気持ちは、自分の中を隅々まで探せばキリがないかもしれない。 それでも、試合後のミックスゾーンで悔しさに引っ張られている様子はあまり感じられなかった。下を向いて言葉を探す場面も少なくはなかったが、要所要所で顔を上げ、成長や向上を誓っていた。その瞳は真っ直ぐで、力強いものだった。 DF菅原由勢が日本代表の先発に名を連ねたのは、約8カ月ぶりのことだった。前回は2025年3月25日に行われたW杯アジア最終予選の第8節サウジアラビア代表戦まで遡る。その後は代表の常連とは言えない時期を過ごした。9月の北米遠征では招集されるも、プレータイムはアメリカ代表戦で後半から途中出場した18分のみ。ブラジル代表を撃破した10月シリーズでは招集されなかった。今回の11月シリーズでは、初戦のガーナ代表戦で出場機会を得るも、68分からのプレーであり、すでに2-0と勝負が決まっている状況だった。 失意のベスト8に終わったAFCアジアカップ2024以降、システムが4バックから3バックに変更した影響もあり、明らかに出場機会を減らしていた。カタールW杯後の第二次森保ジャパン発足時、右サイドバックという本職のポジション自体がなくなることを想像していただろうか。敵地でのドイツ代表撃破にもアシストで貢献していただけに、、まさか「当落線上」という言葉が付き纏うことになるとは……。 生き物のように変化が目まぐるしい代表チームで、もう一度、自分の居場所を確保するために──。5万人以上が駆けつけた国立競技場でのボリビア代表戦、キックオフの笛がピッチ内にいる自身の心臓を震わせた。 ■先制点を生んだ堅守 開始直後に左サイドでボールの奪い合いが発生する中、右サイドのタッチライン沿いに立ち、両手を広げてボールを呼び込む。GK早川友基からのハイボールに対し、フルパワーで落下地点に向かって走る。目の前の相手に構うことなくジャンピングヘッドを狙う。わずかにボールに当たらなかったが、最後尾に向かって親指を立てた。 意気軒昂と右サイドを走ると、開始早々の4分のことだった。 FW小川航基からのパスを目の前で相手選手にカットされたが、すぐさま右足を踏ん張り、一気に寄せた。持ち上がりを阻むだけでなく、左半身側からの密着マークで中央へ誘導。その先にいたMF遠藤航がボールを回収した。そしてMF久保建英に縦パスが入り、MF鎌田大地の先制点が生まれた。 「相手がけっこう縦に蹴ってくるという分析があったので、縦の選択肢を切った。そうなった時、中にもドリブルするという癖もあったので。誘いながら、うまく来てくれて、(遠藤)航くんとの距離感も良かったので、良い形で守備はできたのかなと思います」 電光石火の先制点を生み出す舞台を整えた狙い通りの守備は、横のスライドを駆使し味方と連携して守るサイドバック本職の選手らしいプレーでもあった。 「まずは個人で勝っていくところが大前提ですけど、ハメに行く中では素晴らしい相手だった。組織で守ることも同時にやっていかなきゃいけない中では、良い距離感でやれたと思います」 5バック時のウイングバックは、縦スライドを駆使して目の前の相手の突破を阻むという個人での守備力を求められる場面が多い。しかし、4バック時のサイドバック経験が豊富な菅原だからこそ、攻撃に出ようとしたところからの守備対応にもかかわらず、臨機応変に賢く守ることができた。 ■クロス光るも、前半45分で無念の交代 幸先よくチームに貢献した後も、積極的なプレーを続けた。切磋琢磨し共闘してきた同世代の久保と一緒に、プレッシャーを掛けていく。苦し紛れのロングボールを蹴らせた時には、テクニカルエリアの森保監督も拍手を送っていた。15分には縦パスを受ける相手選手のトラップ際にガツンとアプローチ。ファウルと判定されたが、指揮官の目の前でファイトした。 「サイドバックの選手なので、そこでやられていたら、自分の存在価値はないと思っていたので。そこはしっかりやろうとは思ってました」 そして、23分には真骨頂を発揮する。同学年のDF瀬古歩夢からのサイドチェンジに反応すると、久保の落としを収め、右サイドのスペースに抜け出す久保へ絶妙なスルーパスを出す。そのまま久保を猛然と追いかけ、外側から追い越してリターンパスを受け、ワンタッチでクロス。ニアに飛び込んだ小川の頭にピタリと届けた。惜しくもシュートはクロスバーを叩いたが、座席から身体が浮くような決定機を作り出した。 しかし、その2分後には後ろから相手選手を倒してイエローカードを提示された。「ヨーロッパの試合でもそうだし、ああいう部分でカウンターを防ぐとか、前に運ばれて相手が勢いづくというのを考えたら、止める判断をして、僕は今良かったと思っています」と口にしていたが、その直前のプレスを掻い潜られた場面では背中と正面に相手選手が1人ずついる中で後ろのサイドハーフを捨てて前に出る選択をしていた。一瞬の迷いやプレスのオーガナイズの部分で後手に周り、ワンタッチで剥がされ、ボールは一度捨てたサイドハーフの選手のもとへ。プレスバックして追いかけたのは集中していたが、自分のけつを自分で拭くことは回避できたかもしれない。 警告が理由だったかどうかは断言できないものの、前半45分のみで交代となった理由に結びつけることもできてしまう。本大会では勝利のために汚れ仕事を請け負わなければならない状況があるかもしれないが、少しでも多くアピールしたい現状において適切だったとは言い切れない。 「(交代の理由は)監督に聞いてみないとわからない。もちろん試合に勝つためにオーガナイズしていかなきゃいけないというところで、いろいろな理由はあると思いますけど、自分がもっと良いパフォーマンスをしていたらもう少し出れたなというのはあるので、まずはしっかりと試合を見て振り返って反省したいなと思います」と冷静に自分を見つめていた。 「クロスまで行けてるシーンもありましたし、あんまりネガティブじゃないかなと思っています」と45分を振り返ったように、自分のプレーを出せていた感覚はあったはず。その中で、ハーフタイムに唯一の交代。不完全燃焼という言葉がよぎるし、後半にもっとギアを上げてアピールしたかったに違いない。立場を想像すれば、唇を噛みちぎりたくなってしまう。 ■自問自答の連続で、本大会へ しかし、菅原はヤワではない。試合後は同ポジションのライバルであるMF堂安律と抱擁し、健闘を称えていた。その姿に負の感情はないように見えた。W杯本大会まで残すところ5カ月。弱音を吐き、後ろを振り返る時間はない。自分のすべきことは明確だから。 「最終予選からチームとしての形を試してやってきて、素晴らしい結果を手にしているし、その中で自分の立ち位置はわかっている部分もある。ナーバスにならずに、自分の良さを見失わずに、しっかりとチームでやることが大事。自分を良くするために毎日、謙虚に、小さいことも積み重ねながらやっていくことが大事だと思います。代表が、代表がという見方じゃなくて、チームがあっての代表というのは間違いない。今は僕自身もチームで信頼して使ってもらっている部分があるし、自分がやれている部分も課題の部分も試合に出ながら学べている。チームで試合に出ること、出た時にしっかりと自分の存在価値をチームでも見せていくことが代表につながってくると思います。とにかく、自分自身が成長して良い選手になれば、自ずと代表での立ち位置もチームでの立ち位置も変わってくるので、毎日毎日自分と向き合って、自分に負けずにやっていくことが大事だなと思います」 強みのクロスで決定機を作ったという事実に驕るつもりもない。求めているのは、ハッキリとした結果だから。 「入る時もあれば入らない時もあるし、あれを続けていくことが大事だと思う。紙一重のところを合わせていく作業は、自分自身、チームでもやらなきゃいけないし、もっともっとプレーの精度や質は上げられる部分があると思うので。ただ、結果が出る出ないというのは、その時の運もあるんでね。しっかりと日頃から自分を見つめ直して続けていくことが大事だと思います」 右ウイングバックは堂安、伊東純也に加え、望月ヘンリー海輝も成長中で、鈴木淳之介もプレー可能だろう。ライバルとのメンバー争いは熾烈を極めている。もう一度チャンスを得るためには、自問自答を繰り返しながらブンデスリーガの舞台を戦っていくしかない。その先にW杯本大会のピッチがあると信じて。茨の道であっても、菅原由勢は力強く歩み続ける。 取材・文=難波拓未 2025.11.20 21:00 Thu

「激アツ」「どっちも可愛い」長谷川唯の“激レア”スペイン代表ユニフォーム姿が話題! イニエスタにも例えられるボンマティの日本代表ユニも話題「なんかエモい」

「まだ泣くの早いって」と本田圭佑にツッコまれた日本代表サポーター、元Jリーガーの親友だった「親友が世界的にバズってて最高」

IFFHS(国際サッカー歴史統計連盟)が、21世紀で最もプレーした選手のランキングを発表。トップ10には日本人選手もランクインした。 様々な統計を行うIFFHS。2022年までのデータを集計し、21世紀に入ってからのプレーした試合数をもとにランキングを作成した。 対象となるのは、各国のリーグ戦やカップ戦、国際カップ戦、代表チームの試合も含まれ、全ての公式戦が対象になっている。 今回の統計では1000試合以上プレーした選手が3人に増加。首位は昨年と変わらず、サウジアラビアへ活躍の場を移したポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウド(アル・ナスル)となり、1145試合を記録した。 2022年に1000試合を突破したのは、ブラジル代表DFダニエウ・アウベス(UNAMプーマス)とアルゼンチン代表FWリオネル・メッシ(パリ・サンジェルマン)。アウベスは1033試合、メッシは1003試合となった。メッシはカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)での試合で1000試合を超えたことになる。 そんな中、8位には日本人がランクイン。941試合に出場したMF遠藤保仁(ジュビロ磐田)だ。遠藤はガンバ大阪と磐田、そして日本代表での試合が21世紀に含まれている。なお、アジア人でも唯一となり、900試合以上を達成しているのも12名となっている。 ◆21世紀の出場試合数ランキング 合計(国内リーグ/国内カップ/国際カップ/代表) 1位:クリスティアーノ・ロナウド(ポルトガル) 1145試合(651/93/205/196) 2位:ダニエウ・アウベス(ブラジル) 1033試合(620/115/172/126) 3位:リオネル・メッシ(アルゼンチン) 1003試合(559/102/170/172) 4位:イケル・カシージャス(スペイン) 974試合(585/57/171/161) 5位:ジョアン・モウティーニョ(ポルトガル) 958試合(563/107/142/146) 6位:ズラタン・イブラヒモビッチ(スウェーデン) 948試合(603/72/152/121) 7位:ルカ・モドリッチ(クロアチア) 947試合(569/69/146/162) 8位:遠藤保仁(日本) 941試合(606/117/66/152) 9位:チャビ・エルナンデス(スペイン) 937試合(536/95/174/132) 10位:セルヒオ・ラモス(スペイン) 935試合(534/70/151/180) 11位:アンドレス・イニエスタ(スペイン) 933試合(552/98/152/131) 12位:ロジェリオ・セニ(ブラジル) 904試合(675/71/149/9) 2023.01.12 12:45 Thu

女子W杯決勝戦になでしこのレジェンド宮間あやが!優勝トロフィー手にする姿が反響「日本の誇り」「この登場はしびれた」
