磐田の黄金期を支えた元日本代表MF福西崇史が南葛SCで10年ぶりに現役復帰

▽南葛SCは22日、元日本代表MF福西崇史(41)が現役復帰し、入団することを発表した。 ▽福西氏は愛媛県新居浜市出身で、新居浜工業高校から1995年にジュビロ磐田へ入団。FW登録だったところ、ハンス・オフト監督にボランチへとコンバート。同時期に所属していた元ブラジル代表MFドゥンガ氏の指導を受けて成長し、対人プレーの強さなどの特徴を発揮。磐田の黄金期を支えた。2007年にFC東京へと移籍すると、2008年には東京ヴェルディへと移籍。同年で現役を引退した。 ▽J1通算349試合出場62得点、リーグカップ通算57試合出場4得点、天皇杯通算26試合出場4得点、ACL通算6試合出場1得点を記録。また、Jリーグベストイレブンに1999年、2001年、2002年、2003年の4度選ばれていた。 ▽また、日本代表としても活躍し、2002年の日韓大会、2006年のドイツ大会と2度のワールドカップに出場。国際Aマッチ64試合に出場し7得点を記録していた。引退後はサッカー解説者として活躍していた。 ▽南葛SCで現役復帰を果たす福西はクラブを通じてコメント。復帰への意気込みを語るとともに、自身の将来像を明かした。 「このたび、現役復帰し、南葛SCの一員としてプレーすることになりました」 「このような形での現役復帰を決断したのにはいくつかの理由があります。まずは、南葛SCに深く関わられている高橋陽一先生から熱烈なオファーをいただいたこと。多くのサッカー選手と同じく、『キャプテン翼』を読んでサッカーにハマった自分としては、“リアル南葛SC”でプレーできるということが、本当にうれしいです。加えて、Jリーグを本気で目指している南葛SCのプロジェクトにも賛同させてもらい、自分の力が少しでも役に立てるならばと感じました」 「また、近い将来、Jリーグの監督として指揮を取ることを目指している自分としては、違うカテゴリーとはいえ、現場の空気を吸い、真剣勝負の場に身を置くことは大きなプラスになると考えています」 「10年ぶりのピッチ復帰ということで、もちろん、当時のようにはプレーできませんが、やるからにはチームの役に立てるよう、しっかりと身体を作って臨むつもりです。南葛SCが関東リーグ昇格という目標を果たせるように全力で取り組みたいと思います」 ▽南葛SCは、東京都社会人サッカーリーグ1部に所属。漫画『キャプテン翼』の作者である高橋陽一氏が後援会会長を務めている。 2018.08.22 19:35 Wed

あの伝説の2004年アジアカップPK戦に出場していたヨルダン代表GKが現役引退

ヨルダン代表で長らく正守護神を務めたGKアメル・シャフィ(38)が現役引退を発表した。 シャフィは、母国のアル・ファイサリやアル・ヤルムークでプレー。2006年7月からエジプトのイスマイリーでプレー。1年でヨルダンに戻り、アル・ワフダート、シャバーブ・アル・オルドゥンでプレー。2019年1月からはサウジアラビアのアル・フェイハへとレンタル移籍。2020年6月に復帰していた。 ヨルダン代表としては2000年にデビュー。176試合に出場した名守護神として知られ、アジアカップでも4大会に出場。初出場の2004年大会では、伝説の試合に出場していた。 ヨルダン代表が準々決勝に進んだ2004年大会。その相手は日本代表。あのPK戦にまでもつれ込んだ死闘で守護神として出場していた。 1-1で迎えたPK戦では、日本が中村俊輔、三都主アレサンドロが連続で失敗。ここでキャプテンの宮本恒靖が主審に直談判し、PKのエンドを変更。すると福西崇史、中田浩二が成功。ヨルダンの3人目、4人目が失敗すると日本の5人目の中澤佑二が失敗するも、ヨルダンの5人目の失敗。鈴木隆行が成功するとヨルダンは再び失敗し、最後は宮本が決めて勝利した。 シャフィの引退に関しては、ヨルダンサッカー協会が発表。シャフィは「長い検討とアドバイスを経て、人生で最も困難な決断をした。25年のキャリアを終えることを正式に発表する」と語った。 また、「私がヨルダン代表で戦うのと同じレベルで準備をするのは難しいだろうと感じ、トップレベルにいる間に去ることを決意しました」と引退の理由を語った。 2021.02.09 20:20 Tue

Jリーグが理念強化配分金とファン指標配分金の支給額を発表! 「DAZN」ベースのファン指標分配金の1位は浦和、最下位はYSCCに…連覇神戸は5.5億円

鈴木優磨が“金髪”にする理由を告白

親子揃って「6」がお好き? 中田浩二氏の息子のマスクは鹿島の「6番」、本人も反応「嬉しすぎます。頑張ります」
