アトレチコ・ミネイロ(アトレチコMG)のホームスタジアムが天然芝から人工芝に変更される見通しだ。ブラジル『グローボ』が伝えている。 ブラジルの強豪・アトレチコMG。カンピオナート・ブラジレイロ・セリエA(ブラジル1部)を制すこと3回、南米王者1回、ミナスジェライス州選手権に至っては48回の優勝を誇り、現在は元ブラジル代表FWフッキ(37)、FWアラン・カルデッキ(34)なども所属する人気クラブだ。 そんな彼らは今年8月、4月に開場されたばかりのエスタディオ・プレジレンテ・エリアス・カリル(アレーナMRV)へホームスタジアムを移転。外観がアトレチコMGのクラブカラーである白黒に包まれた、収容人数4万7465名の美しきスタジアムだ。 ただ、この新本拠地を巡って、アトレチコMGのセルジオ・コエーリョ会長が「解決策は1つしかない。ハイブリッド(天然芝と人工芝のミックス)にするか、人工芝にするか…サッカーの競技面だけなら、ハイブリッドの方が良いに決まっているが、それだとこのアリーナを多目的で活用できない」と発言した。 どうやらホームゲームのみならず、コンサートなどの音楽イベント開催で二次活用することも前提として建設されたようで、会長いわく「アリーナの設計上、日光があまりピッチに入ってこない」とのこと。現在は天然芝で試合を開催しているが、そもそもが天然芝に適さない環境となっているようだ。 また、会長が「サッカーだけなら、ハイブリッドの方が良いに決まっている」と言及した通り、人工芝でのプレーは選手がケガをするリスクが増えることは言わずもがな。ただ、クラブの医療スタッフを中心とした「最適な人工芝の導入に向けて」の協議が始まっているとも明かし、ハイブリッドではなく、人工芝を敷く方針を固めている模様だ。 「アスリートは天然芝を好むが、我々はクラブとアリーナMRVの両方を持続可能なものとする責任がある。太陽はそこになく、選択肢は限られている。関係者全員が満足できなくても、決断を下さねばならないのだ」 2023.11.08 17:00 Wed

元Jリーガーのフッキ、新天地は欧州ではなく母国のアトレチコ・ミネイロに決定

イニエスタの娘が“イケメン”ガビに大照れ!記念撮影時の乙女なリアクションが話題「女の子の反応してる」「隣は譲れない」
