日本代表FW浅野拓磨(ボーフム)が今の心境を綴った。23日、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)グループE第1節で日本はドイツと対戦。直前の親善試合で復帰していた浅野はベンチからのスタートとなった。
日本は前半、ドイツに終始支配される展開に。幾度もチャンスを作られるとPKから失点を許し0-1で試合を折り返した。
迎えた後半はシステムを変更。センターバックを3枚並べ、1トップの下に2人のシャドーを配置すると、浅野は57分から1トップの位置に入った。
システム変更で流れを手にした日本は、75分に堂安律のゴールで同点に。さらにイケイケなムードとなる中、83分にFKの流れから一瞬の隙をついた浅野が抜け出し。最後はドイツの守護神マヌエル・ノイアーのニアサイドを抜く強烈な逆転ゴールを突き刺した。
