W杯欠場のエンクンク、代役はフランクフルトの新鋭か? 現在来日中でそのままカタール行きの可能性

カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)に向けたトレーニング中に負傷し、欠場が確定してしまったフランス代表FWクリストファー・エンクンク(RBライプツィヒ)だが、その代役を誰にするかが話題となっている。フランスサッカー連盟(FFF)は15日のトレーニング中に負傷したことを発表。レントゲンの検査を実施し、捻挫と診断されていた。

今季はブンデスリーガで15試合12ゴール2アシスト、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)でも6試合で3ゴール1アシストを記録していたエンクンクの離脱はフランスにとっても痛手だが、代役を探さなくてはないけない。
フランス『RMC Sport』によれば、その代役はフランクフルトのFWランダル・コロ・ムアニ(23)が最適であるとした。

コロ・ムアニは、ナントからフランクフルトに今シーズン加入。するとブンデスリーガ14試合で5ゴール10アシスト、CLの6試合で2ゴールと結果を残し、チームを牽引している。
フランス代表歴もあり、今年9月に初招集。まだゴールを決めてはいないが、今シーズンの好調ぶりからも招集に値すると考えられている。

そのコロ・ムアニは、W杯のメンバー入りしていないため、来日中。16日には浦和レッズとのフレンドリーマッチを戦う準備をしている。

国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)に負傷者が認められなければ追加招集は不可能だが、コロ・ムアニは日本からカタールに向かうことになるだろうか。

「フランス代表を引退しようとした」ムバッペが告白「猿呼ばわりされて…」

パリ・サンジェルマンのFWキリアン・ムバッペが、フランス代表からの引退を考えていたことを明かした。 カタール・ワールドカップの開幕が間近に迫り、先日発表されたフランス代表のメンバーに選ばれたムバッペ。だが、最近の『Sports Illustrated』のインタビューで語ったところでは、フランス代表を引退することを考えていた時期もあったようだ。 曰く、きっかけは昨夏のユーロ2020。ラウンド16でスイス代表と対戦した際、PK戦でシュートを止められ敗戦の原因のひとつとなってしまったムバッペには、サポーターから罵詈雑言を浴びせられた。SNS上では過度な侮辱的ツイートをした19歳の青年が後に有罪判決を受け、罰金を課せられるまでに。 ムバッペはその後、フランスサッカー協会(FFF)のル・グラエ会長と話し合いの場を持ったというが、人種差別について取り合ってくれず、サポートは一切なかったという。同会長に関しては、過去に「黒人プレーヤーがゴールを決めると、スタジアム全体が沸き立つ。フットボール界に人種差別はほとんどない」などの発言をしており、横行する人種差別に対して対岸の火事を装い、多くの非難を浴び続けている。 そのため、フランス代表のために戦う意欲を失いかけたというムバッペ。しかし、周囲と話し合った結果、「諦めることが正しいメッセージではないと判断した」と、引退を考え直したという。 「僕はみんなのお手本だと思う。これが新しいフランスだ。だから代表を諦めなかった。これは若い世代への『僕たちは強いんだぞ』というメッセージだ」 2022.11.11 20:15 Fri
