ドイツ代表ゴレツカへの足裏ハイキックでレッドも…退場後の行いには賞賛の声「すぐに謝罪した」

カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)欧州予選グループJ第9節のドイツ代表vsリヒテンシュタイン代表が11日に行われ、ホームのドイツが9-0で圧勝した。

この試合の大きなポイントとなったのは開始8分の場面。ボックス内でドイツ代表MFレオン・ゴレツカがボールを収めたところで、相手DFイェンス・ホファーのスパイク裏が首元に入り一発退場となった。ホファーはゴレツカが見えておらず、ハイキックに近い形でかなりの勢いで接触したため、スタジアムも騒然とするファウル。ゴレツカはそのままピッチに倒れ、治療を受けることとなった。

タックル自体は酷いものであったが、ホファーはその後に立派な対応を見せる。

接触の直後からゴレツカの様子を心配そうに伺い、主審にレッドカードを提示されてからもそばを離れずに見守る。幸い、大事には至らなかったゴレツカが立ち上がると、ホファーは体を支え、ピッチの端まで一緒に歩いた。すると、その誠意が伝わったのか、ゴレツカがホファーの頭に手を乗せ、慰めるようなシーンもあった。

この後、ピッチに戻ったゴレツカは前半終了までプレーしている。

ホファーのタックルについては、多くの海外メディアからも「ホラータックル」「重傷のリスクがあった」と糾弾されているが、その後の対応については「素晴らしいフェアプレー」「すぐに謝罪した」と賞賛する声もあがっている。
