三菱重工浦和レッズレディースのなでしこジャパンMF塩越柚歩が24歳の誕生日を迎えた。なでしこジャパンの一員として東京オリンピックにも出場した塩越。今年9月に開幕したYogibo WEリーグでは開幕節でもゴールを決めている。第3節以降は試合から遠ざかっていたものの、10月31日に行われたジェフユナイテッド市原・千葉レディース戦で4試合ぶりにピッチへ登場した。

ファッション誌でモデルを務めるなど、活動の幅を広げる塩越は、11月1日に24歳の誕生日を迎えた。バースデーケーキを手にした写真を自身のインスタグラムに投稿。ファン・サポーターからは多くの祝福の声が寄せられ、なでしこの先輩・岩渕真奈からも「ゆずおめでとー」とメッセージが送られた。
塩越は誕生日の写真とともに、新たな1年に向けての抱負を次のように語っている。

「昨日で24歳になりました。たくさんのメッセージありがとうございました」

JFAが1日に公開した『月刊JFATV 2021年10月号』にも登場した塩越。リーグ戦はもちろんのこと、29日のオランダ遠征、さらにはワールドカップ(W杯)予選を兼ねる来年1月のAFC女子アジアカップインド2022での活躍にも期待がかかる。

「WEリーグの選手もできる」なでしこジャパンの10番が狙う4年ぶりの代表戦ゴール 塩越柚歩がE-1で示したい、“国内組の力”

東アジアE-1サッカー選手権に臨むなでしこジャパン(女子日本代表)は7日、開催地の韓国入り後初の全体練習を行った。初招集メンバーは10名。若手も多く揃う中、「プレーでもピッチ外でもリーダーシップが取れたら」と笑顔を見せるのは、今大会で背番号10を背負う塩越柚歩だ。 代表招集は約8カ月ぶりで、2025年2月に就任したニルス・ニールセン監督の下でプレーをするのは今大会が初めてとなる。 初日の練習を終え「ちょっと戸惑いというか、(監督が求めているプレーは)“これで合っているのかな”というのは、正直あった」と率直な感想を語る一方で、「みんなですり合わせながら、やっていけた感覚はある」と手応えも得ながら汗を流した。 今大会のメンバー選考について、ニールセン監督は「WEリーグから非常に才能ある選手を選んだ」と明言する。国内組が多く名を連ねる中、ボランチでの起用が予想される塩越に求められているのは、得点に絡む大胆なプレーだ。 7日に行われた11対11ゲーム形式のトレーニングでも、ゴール前に飛び込んでいくプレーを披露。「無理に(ボールを)受けに行かないでほしいと言われていたので、あまり(最終ラインまで)落ちるプレーはしないように意識した」と話し、「『ここぞ』っていうタイミングで、ゴール前に迫ることを言われている」と与えられている役割を明かした。 2024-25シーズンのWEリーグ第8節・サンフレッチェ広島レジーナ戦では、ペナルティーエリア手前横パスから華麗なダイレクトシュートをゴール右上に突き刺し、リーグ年間ベストゴールにも輝いた。今回の招集は、そうした国内リーグでの活躍を惜しみなく発揮してほしいという指揮官からのメッセージでもあるのだ。 2021年4月に行われた国際親善試合で初選出された塩越は、なでしこデビューとなったパラグアイ戦で2ゴール1アシストを挙げ、大きな爪痕を残していた。 「普段の代表は海外組が多い中で、“WEリーグの選手もできる”のを見せられる大会になると思う。より結果が大事」と意気込む背番号10は、約4年ぶりにネットを揺らすことができるか。 チームは大会3連覇を目標に、まずは9日に行われるチャイニーズ・タイペイとの初戦に臨む。 2025.07.08 12:00 Tue

「癒される」塩越柚歩が貴重なオフショットを公開、愛犬との一枚に「人間よりおしゃれなの着てる時ある」

「ついにこの瞬間がやって来ました」WE優勝の浦和L栗島朱里が歓喜!あの"伝統芸"がレディースでついに完成か「こだわり抜いたこの真顔」

「癒される」塩越柚歩が貴重なオフショットを公開、愛犬との一枚に「人間よりおしゃれなの着てる時ある」
