グレミオのウルグアイ代表FWルイス・スアレスが圧巻のハットトリックで、チームを逆転勝利へと導いた。カンピオナート・ブラジレイロ・セリエA(ブラジル1部)は第33節が現地時間8日から9日にかけて行われ、2位グレミオは9日に首位のボタフォゴとアウェイでの直接対決を迎えた。

元スペイン代表FWジエゴ・コスタや、かつてJリーグでもプレーしたFWジュニオール・サントスにゴールを許し、グレミオは前半を1-2のビハインドで終えた。
後半開始直後にも失点を喫し、出はなを挫かれたかに思われたが、百戦錬磨のストライカーがチームを救う。

まずは49分、右ポケットで待ち構えていたスアレスの下へ図ったかのようにこぼれ球が流れると、寄せてきたDFをかわし、左足の一撃を決めて1点を返す。
さらにその4分後、左サイドからのアーリークロスを外へ開きながら受けると、ワンタッチで逆サイドへ流し込み、同点に。そして圧巻は68分だ。

スアレスは最前線から引いた位置、敵陣の中央でキープすると、マティアス・ビジャサンティとのワンツーを駆使して中央を易々と突破。ボックス内へ侵入し、右足のフィニッシュでネットを揺らした。

ストライカーの矜持が詰まったスアレスのハットトリックで、グレミオは鮮やかな逆転勝利。消化試合はボタフォゴが1つ少ないものの、勝ち点「59」で並んだ。

同勝ち点の場合は直接対決の結果が優先されるため(前回対戦で0-2●)、順位こそ2位のままだが、グレミオは現在5連勝中と勢いに乗っている。リーグ戦は残り5節。今季限りでの退団を表明しているスアレスは、グレミオへ置き土産となるタイトルをもたらすことができるだろうか。

“つり目”ポーズのU-20ウルグアイ代表MFバルベルデが人種差別を否定も謝罪

▽韓国で行われているFIFA U-20ワールドカップにおいて、人種差別的なジェスチャーをしたとされたレアル・マドリーのU-20ウルグアイ代表MFフェデリコ・バルベルデだが、これを否定した。イギリス『BBC』が報じた。 ▽ウルグアイは、準々決勝でU-20ポルトガル代表と対戦。120分間を終えて2-2のドローとなり、PK戦までもつれた試合を5-4で制したウルグアイが、ベスト4に勝ち進んだ。 ▽この試合でPKによる同点ゴールを決めたバルベルデが、目尻を釣り上げるゴールパフォーマンスを行っていた。このことが問題視され、アジア人に対する差別だと騒がれていたが、本人が否定した。 「これは人種差別的なセレブレーションではなく、友人のための個人的なお祝いだった」 「人種差別的な意図はなかったけど、僕は謝罪したい」 ▽“つり目”のパフォーマンスは最近問題になることが多く、中国スーパーリーグの河北華夏に所属するアルゼンチン代表FWエセキエル・ラベッシがクラブの写真で同様のポーズをして謝罪。また、バレーボールのセルビア女子代表チームも日本での大会出場権を獲得したことに対して同様のポーズを取り、批判を受けて謝罪する事態が起きていた。 2017.06.06 12:34 Tue

サプライヤーなしのウルグアイ代表が新ユニフォームを発表!男女平等促進のため紫色も取り入れた史上初のデザインに

スアレス&カバーニらウルグアイ代表の海外組メンバーが発表《カタールW杯南米予選》
