マンチェスター・シティのアルゼンチン代表FWフリアン・アルバレスの語学教師が美しいと話題だ。イギリス『サン』が伝えている。リーベル・プレートの下部組織育ちのアルバレスは2022年1月にシティへ完全移籍。2022年7月からプレーすると、今シーズンのプレミアリーグで19試合に出場し5得点を記録。アルゼンチン代表ではカタール・ワールドカップの全7試合に出場。当初はベンチスタートだったが4ゴールを記録。チームの優勝に大きく貢献していた。
そのアルバレスに英語を教えているのがサラ・デュケさんという女性。ポルトガル語、英語、ドイツ語、フランス語、スペイン語の5カ国語を操るといるサラさんは、元々スポーツ法務に関わる弁護士として活躍。その後ポルトの語学教師として働き、2020年に独立したという。
サラさんはインスタグラムのフォロワー数も15万人を超える人気者。アルバレスの他にもブラジル代表MFアルトゥール(リバプール)ら多くの顧客を抱えているようだが、良いことばかりではないようで、『サン』はサラさんの美しい見た目で嫉妬に狂った数人の選手のパートナーがレッスンをしてほしくないと思っていると伝えている。
ただ、サラさんの実力は評判通りのようで、シティ加入時にはほとんど英語を話せなかったアルバレスが、今はインタビューでも少し英語を話せるようになっている。

「僕世代のアイドル」アルバレスがメッシへの忠誠心語る「W杯優勝を手伝えて、この上ない誇り」
