リバプールのイングランド代表DFトレント・アレクサンダー=アーノルドが右足首を負傷したようだ。アルネ・スロット監督が明かしている。

アレクサンダー=アーノルドは11日に行われたチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)ラウンド16・2ndレグのパリ・サンジェルマン戦に先発。70分にMFヴィティーニャからボールを奪うべくスライディングタックルを仕掛けたが、その際に右足首がピッチに引っかかって自身の体重が乗る形に。

捻る形で痛め、そのままプレー続行不可能となって交代していた。スロット監督はアレクサンダー=アーノルドの状態について｢あまり良くない｣とし、16日に行われるカラバオ(EFL)カップ決勝ニューカッスル戦欠場を示唆した。

｢イブ(コナテ)はただ疲れての交代だったが、トレントは交代しなければならなかった。良い兆候ではない。映像や負傷の様子を見た人たちから聞いた話ではあまり良くは見えず、日曜日にプレーできたら驚きだということだった｣

悔しいCL敗退に終わったリバプールはプレミアリーグ優勝をほぼ確実としている中、16日のEFLカップで今季初タイトル獲得を目指す。
