イングランド代表の家族にFAがカタールの状況を説明…服装や振る舞いなど問題を起こさない予防措置

リバプールに所属するイングランド代表MFジョーダン・ヘンダーソンは、バルセロナに所属する元同僚のウルグアイ代表FWルイス・スアレスと親密な関係だが、最初から仲が良かったわけではないという。スペイン『Marca』が伝えている。 2011年1月にリバプールに加入したスアレスと、約半年後の同年7月に同クラブへ加入したヘンダーソン。2011-12シーズンにはEFLカップ優勝を共に経験し、スアレスと共闘した最後の年である2013-14シーズンには、惜しくも優勝を逃すも、プレミアリーグで首位のマンチェスター・シティに勝ち点2差で迫る2位の好成績を収めた。計3シーズン、共にプレーした両者だが、当初の関係は険悪だった模様。ヘンダーソンが当時を回想し、明かした。「当時、僕は若くて、スアレスが練習中に僕が気に入らないことを1、2回やってきたことに、自分が過小評価されているように感じたよ」「腕を上げて、まるで僕がここにいるべきじゃないという風に(お前は何をやっているんだという)ジェスチャーをされたよ。それに本当に傷ついたんだ」「スアレスがその後も何度かジェスチャーをやってきたから怒ったんだ。殺そうかと思ったよ」「でも最後には違いを認め合うことができた。お互いとても信頼し合うようになったし、今でも連絡を取り合っているよ」 2019.11.15 11:55 Fri
