元イタリア代表GKサルバトーレ・シリグ(37)が古巣パレルモに帰還した。
セリエBクラブは24日、シリグと2024-25シーズン終了までの1年契約を締結したと発表した。
イタリア代表28キャップを誇るシリグは、これまでパリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)やセビージャ、トリノ、ジェノア、ナポリ、フィオレンティーナ、ニースなど国内外のクラブでプレー。今年1月にはニースとの契約を解消し、トルコのファティ・カラギュムリュクでプレーしていた。
昨シーズンは公式戦19試合に出場するなど、途中加入で正GKの座を掴んだが、今シーズンは開幕からベンチ外となっており、パレルモ移籍に先駆けて契約を解消していた。
なお、パレルモはシリグがプロキャリアをスタートし、2011年のPSG移籍までプレーした古巣。今回は13年ぶりの古巣帰還となった。

“昇格へ本気” 一時は経営破綻のセリエB・パレルモ、セリエAクラブからエース強奪に成功
