2シーズン連続の対峙となった因縁の対戦カードは、ブンデスリーガ初優勝の勢いに乗るレバークーゼンが難所オリンピコで2-0と先勝した。

前半からほぼ五分五分の攻防が繰り広げられたが、半ば過ぎの28分にDFカルスドルプのミスを突いたDFグリマルドのお膳立てからMFヴィルツが先制点を奪取。ここから完全に主導権を握ったアウェイチームは幾つかの決定機で仕留め切れずにいたが、後半半ば過ぎの73分にMFアンドリッヒが見事なミドルシュートを突き刺し、待望の追加点を奪取。以降はローマが攻勢を強めたものの、後半アディショナルタイムの絶好機でFWエイブラハムが決め切れず、開幕からの無敗記録を「47」に更新したレバークーゼンが先勝に成功した。

昨季、敗戦を喫した敵地で先勝に成功したシャビ・アロンソ率いるチームは、先週末に行われたブンデスリーガのフランクフルト戦では先発7人を入れ替えたアウェイゲームを5-1で快勝。MFジャカの先制点を皮切りに、FWシックやFWボニフェイスと控え選手が得点を重ねて完勝し、公式戦48戦無敗としたチームは、ベンフィカが1963年12月～1965年2月にかけて樹立した欧州公式戦無敗記録に並んだ。そして、万全の状態で臨むバイ・アレーナでの一戦では、1987-88シーズン以来の決勝進出に加え、欧州新記録を樹立を狙う。

一方、相手に主導権を握りながらチャンスも作っていたものの、ミスや決定機逸によって2シーズン連続のファイナル進出へ暗雲たれ込めるローマ。先週末のリーグ戦では上位のユベントスとのビッグマッチを1-1のドローで終えた。熾烈なセリエAでのチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)出場権争いにおいて、1試合未消化のアタランタに同勝ち点で並ばれて6位に後退したが、先発6人を入れ替えて主力を早めのタイミングでベンチに下げたなか、手応えを得るドローでもあった。

今季未だ無敗の難敵相手の逆転突破は至難の業と言わざるを得ないが、2017-18シーズンのCL準々決勝で初戦を1-4で落とした中、バルセロナ相手に“オリンピコの奇跡”と称される3-0の勝利を収めた不屈のジャッロロッシは“バイ・アレーナの奇跡”を狙う。当時、カピターノとして“オリンピコの奇跡”を起こしたデ・ロッシ監督は、その再現に向けて必ずやチームを鼓舞するはずだ。

スタッド・ヴェロドロームで行われた1stレグは、アウェイのアタランタが絶好調のFWスカマッカのゴールで先制に成功。だが、マルセイユも伏兵DFムベンバの圧巻のミドルシュートで20分に追いついた。以降は熱狂的なホームサポーターの大声援を後押しに、ホームチームが攻勢を仕掛けたが、FWオーバメヤンが前半終盤のGKとの一対一のチャンスを決め切れず。後半もマルセイユペースながら、アタランタも要所で際どいシーンを作り出す睨み合いの展開が続いた中、1-1のドロー決着となった。

敵地での初戦を最低限のドローで終えたアタランタは、先週末のセリエAですでに降格が決定したサレルニターナに2-1の逆転勝利。ローマを得失点差で上回り、CL出場圏内の5位に浮上した。先発6人を入れ替えて臨んだアウェイゲームでは立ち上がりに先制点を奪われたが、後半立ち上がりのスカマッカの同点ゴールに、MFコープマイネルスの見事な左足ミドルシュートで得点を重ねてきっちり勝ち切った。今週末にローマとのシックスポインター、ユベントスとのコッパ・イタリア決勝と重要な連戦を控えるが、まずはこのマルセイユ戦をしっかりと勝ち切ってシーズン最終盤の重要な連戦へ弾みを付けたい。

内容面を鑑みれば先勝を逃した印象が強いマルセイユだが、下馬評では苦戦必至と見られた一戦を五分以上の内容で終えられた点では、間違いないく自信と勇気を得られたはずだ。また、リーグ側の配慮によって先週末のスタッド・ランス戦は来週ミッドウィークに延期されており、相手に比べてよりフレッシュな状態で臨める。この間にサスペンション明けのDFジゴや負傷明けの一部選手がコンディションを上げており、初戦に比べて選手層に厚みが加わった中で敵地へ乗り込める。

ほぼイーブンの状態で臨むダブリン行きを懸けた両雄の運命の第2戦は、いずれにせよ激戦必至となりそうだ。

カラフィオーリのアーセナル移籍で古巣ローマにも恩恵…バーゼルから追加の支払い

ローマがイタリア代表DFリッカルド・カラフィオーリ(22)のアーセナル移籍によって少なくない資金を手にするようだ。イタリア『Il Romanista』が報じている。カラフィオーリはローマの下部組織出身でファーストチームデビュー後、2022年夏にバーゼルへ150万ユーロ(約2億5000万円)+リセール時の40%という契約で完全移籍した。その翌年にバーゼルからボローニャに400万ユーロ(約6億8000万円)で完全移籍した際に、その移籍金の40%を受け取ったとされるローマだが、同選手がボローニャからアーセナルへの5000万ユーロ(約85億7000万円)での移籍が迫る中で再びバーゼルから移籍金の一部を受け取れるようだ。バーゼルはボローニャに売却した際にリセール時の50%を受け取る条項を契約に盛り込んでいたが、その半額すべてを受け取れるわけではなくその内の幾分かを再びローマに支払う必要があるという。そして、ローマ推定で総額800万ユーロ(約13億7000万円)程度の金額を得ることになるようだ。 2024.07.22 13:33 Mon
