昨日3月7日は、ブラジル代表FWネイマールにとって記念すべき日だ。ブラジル『グローボ』が伝えている。

誉高きセレソンのエースにして、中東サウジアラビアでプレーするネイマール。母国のサントスでプロデビュー後、バルセロナ、パリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)を経て、アル・ヒラルに所属する。

これらを振り返ると、サントスで通算136得点、バルセロナで通算118得点、PSGで通算72得点、ブラジル代表で通算79得点をマーク。今季加入のアル・ヒラルでは前十字じん帯断裂の影響によりまだ1得点、ピッチ外でのゴシップも年々増えるお騒がせ男だが、積み上げてきたゴール数は素晴らしい。

そんなネイマールがキャリアの第一歩を踏み出したのが、2009年3月7日。当時17歳の青年は、サンパウロ州選手権のオエステ戦で59分に途中出場してプロデビュー。続く3月15日のモジミリン戦で2試合目にしてプロ初得点を記録した。

この2試合を皮切りにサントス通算225試合で136得点。バルセロナへの移籍前に“ペレ時代”以降のクラブ最多得点者となり、19歳となった2011年にはエースとしてチームを南米王者に導き、そして2013年夏、バルセロナへと送り出された。

リオネル・メッシ、ルイス・スアレスとMSNトリオを構成したバルセロナでチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)優勝を経験しているネイマールだが、「圧倒的にキラキラしていた時期は?」と問われれば、やはりサントス時代かもしれない。

「恐ろしい数カ月だった…」レイプ疑惑で逮捕されたダニエウ・アウベス、妻が離別を報告「これからもずっと彼を愛します」

女子選手の意見を参考に配慮し白パンツを中止、ナイキが女子W杯出場13カ国の新ユニフォームを発表!

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン
