新井は18日に行われたトレーニング中に負傷。神戸市内の病院にて検査を行った結果、両上顎骨骨折、右上1番歯牙完全脱臼、下唇裂創と診断されたとのことだ。全治は受傷日より約6週間と報告されている。
新井はこれまで東京ヴェルディ、川崎フロンターレ、ジェフユナイテッド千葉とわたり歩き、今シーズンから神戸に加入。7日に行われたプレシーズンマッチ『Inter Miami in Tokyo 2024』のインテル・マイアミ戦では後半から出場すると、PK戦では3連続セーブを見せ勝利の立役者になっていた。

田中碧が24歳バースデーに感謝も縦読みでメッセージ!? 元℃-uteの鈴木愛理さんへの感謝か

苦しんだキャリア、殊勲の2セーブのGK新井章太が明かすPK戦の舞台裏「まずは僕が仕掛けました」《YBCルヴァンカップ》
激闘に終止符を打ったのは、苦労人でもある守護神のGK新井章太だった。 キャリアをスタートさせたのは2011年。国士舘大学から東京ヴェルディへと入団し、プロの道を歩み始めた。 しかし、新井に待っていたのは厳しい現実。1つしかポジションがないGKは、他のポジションに比べて出場機会が訪れることは少ない。そして、新井は公式戦に出場することなく東京Vと契約満了。トライアウトを経て、2013年に川崎フロンターレへと入団した。 川崎Fでも出場機会を得られなかった新井は、プロ5年目の2015年に初出場をする。このシーズンはJ1で23試合の出場を得たが、翌シーズンからは再び控えの立場に。そんな男が、川崎Fの負のジンクスを打ち破る活躍を見せた。 「1本目は止めないといけない状況でしたし、相手は決めれば優勝というプレッシャーがあったと思うので、それはこっちの方が断然有利だなと思いました」 120分間を通してシーソーゲームとなり、PK戦にまでもつれ込む大激戦。それをよりドラマチックにしたシーンを新井は楽しんでいた。 川崎FはDF車屋紳太郎がPKを失敗し、窮地に立たされていた場面。5度目の挑戦でも優勝を逃す絵が頭をよぎりかけた瞬間だった。 ピンチを救った新井だが、読めていたわけでは無いと明かした。キッカーは途中出場の石川直樹だったが、蹴るまでは「全然わからなかったです。どっちに蹴ってもおかしくなかったですし」と、予測はできていなかったという。 しかし、「ただ、そこまでは良い感じで相手とのタイミングもあっていました。あとはコースとか高さだけでした。今日はすごく良い感じでボールが見えていました」と自身の調子の良さを感じており、それが弱気にならなかったことに繋がった。 新井のセーブでサドンデスに持ち込まれたPK戦。より優位な立場で6人目のキッカーを迎えた。 「本当にギリギリまで見ました。まずは僕が仕掛けました。揺さぶったので、うまいこと入ってきました。相手も最後まで迷ったんじゃないですかね」と新井は振り返る。 キッカーの進藤は「コースは決めていなかったです。もっと、良いコースに蹴るか、逆を突く必要はあったかなと思います」とコメントしていた。新井の勝負強さが出たシーンだったとも言えるだろう。 我慢の連続だった新井のキャリアだが、今シーズンは少し流れが変わった。開幕からこれまで同様に第2GKのポジションではあったが、プライムステージから参加となったルヴァンカップには起用された。また、リーグ戦でも6戦未勝利と調子が上がらなかったことも影響し、第26節からピッチに立っている。 新井は「今年のルヴァンカップは全部出ていて、自分たちでチャンスを掴んだので、勝たなきゃいけないんじゃなくて、勝ちたいと思おうと思って。みんなに伝えました」と自分が守り続けた結果、決勝まで導いたことを自信に変え、チームメイトにも伝えていた。 その強い気持ちは試合中にも表れる。菅大輝にダイレクトシュートを決められ先制を許したが、「あれを止められるまでGK辞められないです」と新井はポジティブに語った。そして3失点目に顕著に表れる。 新井は元チームメイトであるDF福森晃斗に直接FKを沈められてしまう。数的不利になった直後に逆転を許す展開に。新井は「落ち込むじゃないですか。絶対。10人だし」とチームのテンションが下がることを懸念した。 また、「気持ちを強く保たないとズルズルいくし、4点目取られてというつまらない試合はしたくなかったので、みんなにはしっかり声かけました」と一番悔しいはずである新井から、チームメイトを鼓舞しに行ったのだ。 それはレジェンドでもある中村憲剛にまで届く。「憲剛さんに言う人も、ここまではそんなにいなかったので。ここで言うしかないなと」。この新井の諦めない気持ちが、小林悠の同点ゴールにも繋がったことは間違いないだろう。 PK戦で勝利した要因はもう1つある。「楽しみでした。ラッキーという感じです。やってやろうという感じでしたね」。新井はPK戦に臨む前に、モチベーションを高く持っていた。そして、それは始まってからも同じだった。 「先にク・ソンユン選手が止めていたので、逆に楽な気持ちになったというか、もう止めるしかないじゃんという開き直りというか。結構メンタルは安定していました。後ろにサポーターもいてくれたのは良かったです」 川崎Fサポーターの大声援に背中を押され、2本のPKストップ。苦しみ続けてきた新井が、苦しみ続けていたチームをカップウィナーへと導いた。 最後に、新井はらしさを見せた。「(最後のPKを)キャッチして立ち上がった瞬間にみんなが来たので、全部かわしてやろうと。ラグビー見すぎて、トライしに行きました(笑)。少し目立とうかなと。たまにはね」 不屈の精神で第2GKという難しいポジションを過ごしてきた新井。その努力、その挫けない心が、大きな成果となって返ってきた。 2019.10.27 00:10 Sun

「スペインより日本の方が長い」来日5年のイニエスタが8歳長男の誕生日を祝福!「お父さんにそっくり」

「日本に住んで3年になりますが」イニエスタの妻が日本生活での驚きを打ち明ける「いまだに驚いています」
