今夏のバイエルン移籍が内定しているU-17オーストラリア代表FWネストリ・イランクンダ(18)だが…。オーストラリア『news.com.au』が伝えている。
イランクンダはアフリカ・タンザニア出身の世代別オーストラリア代表ウインガー。現所属はAリーグ・メンのアデレード・ユナイテッドで、18歳にしてクラブ公式戦通算51試合10ゴールを記録している。
昨年11月には2024-25シーズンからのバイエルン移籍が発表されており、現在は言わば、欧州上陸に備えた準備期間。もちろんアデレードへの貢献が伴えばなお良い。
しかし、17日に行われた第17節・シドニーFC戦(A)で突如、出場停止1試合をのぞいて今季初のベンチ外に。アデレードのカール・ファート監督はシドニーへの遠征前にその理由を明かしている。
「ネストリは今季に入って我々の求めるレベルに達していない。プレッシャーを感じているかどうかに関係なく、まずは純粋にサッカーを楽しむことからやり直すべきだろう」
バイエルン移籍まで残り4カ月強、どうやらイランクンダはピッチ内外で“若さ”が目立っているようで、シドニー戦のベンチ外は指揮官による愛の鞭といったところか。

レンヌの新星デジレ・ドゥエにビッグクラブがこぞって関心…バイエルンの1stオファーは拒絶
