10日にジェフユナイテッド市原・千葉レディースからフランクフルトへの加入が発表された千葉。28日に行われた女子ブンデスリーガ第11節のケルン戦にて、1-0とリードして迎えた72分から途中出場を果たし、新天地デビューを飾った。

限られた時間の中でも裏へのロングスプリントやCKのニア合わせといった特徴を披露。一方で、パスを要求しながらもボールが出てこないシーンも散見され、連係面の構築はさすがに発展途上といったところか。

初陣を勝利で終えた千葉。試合後には、デビューの喜びや日本とのファンの違い、今後へ向けての意気込みなどを語っている。

「フランクフルトでプレーできること、ケルン戦でデビューできたことを嬉しく思います。競った試合のオープンな展開だったので、2-0にしたいという気持ちでピッチに入りました。1-0のままでしたが、勝ててよかったです」

「スタジアムの応援は日本とはかなり違っていて、応援の仕方もそうですし、試合直後にサインを頼まれるのは特別な感覚でした。これからも何度もみなさんの前でプレーして、素晴らしいファンと一緒に喜びを分かち合えるようにしたいです」

「チームの柱になれるよう、トレーニングも毎回楽しみながら、プレー時間を伸ばしたいと思っています。本当にありがたいことに、チームのみんながとても良くしてくれるので、ピッチ上で恩返しがしたいです。もっとコミュニケーションがとれるようにドイツ語も勉強したいですね」

ゲッツェに2人目の子供? モデルの妻が願望を口に「また男の子でも可愛い」
