「何よりも失点を最小限にする」2位を死守へ、ナポリ指揮官が大事な一戦に言及「通過することが重要」

マッツァーリ監督はアドバンテージを活かして突破なるか

ナポリのワルテル・マッツァーリ監督が、ブラガとの大一番に向けてコメントした。クラブ公式サイトが伝えた。

12日、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)最終節が行われ、グループCではナポリがブラガをホームに迎える。

現在2位のナポリは勝ち点7、3位のブラがは勝ち点4という状況。得失点差はナポリが3点リードしているが、結果次第ではブラガが逆転する可能性も残されている。

成績不振を理由に監督交代をすでに行っているナポリだが、マッツァーリ監督はこの一戦に向けてグループステージ突破以外考えないとコメント。しっかりと守備をし、多く失点しないことが大事だとした。

「ラウンドを通過することが重要であり、今はそれ以外の議論はない」

「私は選手たちに、最終結果について計算する必要はないと伝えた。明日考えなければならないのは、勝利すること、そして何よりも失点を最小限にすることだ」

「彼らはカウンターがとてもうまいので、我々も同等に戦わなければならない。コンパクトで、相手の攻勢に対して何も残してはいけない」

また、自身が率いてからチームは改善傾向にあるとコメント。ただ、結果にいまいち繋がっていないこともあり、しっかりとやるべきことを実行する必要があるとした。

「パフォーマンスの面では、我々は明らかな成長データを収集した。ナポリはサッカーのやり方を知っていることを証明しており、その特徴は今もはっきりと残っている。欠けているのは、昨シーズンと同じ攻撃面と守備面のバランスだ」

「ここに来て以降、明らかに徐々に改善が見られた。予選に加え、自分たちがしっかりとしていることを証明できれば本当に良いと思う。我々はよりコンパクトになり、パフォーマンスの面では向上しているが、今は勝って我々の進化に重要な兆しを与える必要がある」

「まず求め、望んでいることは、そうしたことを実行することだ。なぜなら、我々は多くのプレーを提案しているが、今の所、我々が生み出したものに比べてチャンスはほとんどものにできていないからだ」
