トッテナムは10日、MFジェームズ・マディソンのイングランド代表不参加を発表した。
17日に行われるユーロ2024予選のマルタ代表戦、20日の北マケドニア代表戦に向けた25名のメンバーに選ばれていたマディソン。直近のチェルシー戦で足首を痛めて途中交代し、状態が懸念されていた。
トッテナムによれば、マディソンはイングランド代表に不参加。クラブのメディカルスタッフとリハビリを行うため、ホットスパー・ウェイ(練習場)にとどまるとのことだ。
今夏、チャンピオンシップ(イングランド2部)へと降格したレスター・シティからトッテナムへと移ったマディソンは、すぐさまチームの中心的存在となり、ここまでのプレミアリーグ11試合全てに出場。3ゴール5アシストを記録し、リーグ2位の原動力となっていた。

マディソンがスパーズ加入前に禊を済ませる? 10年前にクラブやベイル侮辱のSNS投稿を削除

「可愛い!」ペガサスに乗って宙を舞うイングランド代表FWサカの衝撃写真が話題沸騰「この男を愛さないわけにはいかない」
