チェルシーが争奪戦制する? 今夏注目株、守田英正の相棒・ウガルテに契約解除条項の90億円を支払い確保…ポルトガルメディアが報道

今夏の移籍市場で多くのビッグクラブが関心を寄せているスポルティングCPのウルグアイ代表MFマヌエル・ウガルテ(22)だが、チェルシーへの移籍が確定したという。ポルトガル『A Bola』が伝えた。

ウガルテは、3月には日本代表との試合にも出場し、スポルティングでは日本代表MF守田英正ともプレー。今シーズンはプリメイラリーガで31試合、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)で6試合、ヨーロッパリーグ(EL)で4試合と主力として活躍している。

スポルティングとの契約は2026年夏まで残っているが、アーセナルやトッテナム、ニューカッスル、リバプール、パリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)などが関心を寄せていると報じられた中、チェルシーが獲得に漕ぎ着けたようだ。

『A Bola』によれば、チェルシーは契約解除条項の6000万ユーロ(約90億円)を支払うことで合意したとのこと。今季大不調に陥り、ボトムハーフ(順位表の下半分)でシーズンを終えたチェルシーへの移籍となった。

来シーズンはヨーロッパの大会には出場できないチェルシーだが、ウガルテはプレミアリーグでプレーするという夢を実現させることを選んだという。

2021年8月にファマリカンからスポルティングへと完全移籍で加入したウガルテ。2シーズンを過ごし、公式戦85試合で1ゴールを記録していた。
